Hi guys, im 24 and i've only come into the society like 2 years plus, make enough money for survival and also saving,

my dream car is the Scirocco, even only for the 1.4 TSI, but i wonder with my current income, is it possible to own a Scirocco of my own? i make 4 almost to 5k a month currently.

i've heard the salesman in VW saying that, the 1.4 and 2.0TSI will be discontinued and it is very hard to find them brand new now, as only the R is available, make me feel no hope alrdy, rocco R is like what? 280k, imposible for me T.T......

any feed back seniors? thank you.

hehe.. agree with zweimmk. its all depend on your downpayment. Rocco 1.4 roughly 192k right inclusive insurance with 55%NCB.

if u pay downpayment about RM100k, that will make u pay monthly RM1k for 9 years. with int rate 2.4% of course.. oh gosh.

btw, is it true 1.4 and 2.0TSI will be discontinued? or just marketing gimmick. its just.. too weird.

The 1.4 is definitely getting discontinued. VW has issued a statement saying it is too expensive to produce. Some people speculate that the real reason is because it's too unreliable.

If I'm not mistaken, the 2.0 TSI will also be replaced when the Golf MK7 gets launched next year with the new MQB platform. But not 100% sure on that one.

I pay nearly 2.5k every month for 42 months for the Passat. My trade in was 57k and I still had to top up about 19k just to hit the target amount I am comfortable spending a month. Obviously, the more dp you can put, the shorter your loan will be or less you pay depending on how long a loan tenure you want to take.

Many ways you can go about buying a car, just how you want to do it and which method you are most comfortable with. If you got FAMA sponsorship then all the better biggrin.gif

I got the spec for Jetta:

Max. output, kW (PS) at rpm = 118 (160)/5800

Is it the the higher the maximum output, the better the performance is?

Hi Sifus. I'm looking to buy the Scirocco 2.0 TSI. Can anyone tell me how much mileage they can get in a full tank for a semi urban environment?

Torque is how fast you get to the max speed, and horsepower (or output if you like) is how fast your top speed is.

CKD only RM171,967.20. inclusive of road tax, registeration fee, inspection and handling fees, number plate and HP ownership Endorsement fee.

My down payment was RM76967.2 excluding insurance, and my loan taken is 95k

If include insurance, I actually paid in total RM22788.14

I paid my insurance separate from the purchase price. So actually my installment per month is only RM24XX

My petrol is covered and so is the maintenance.

42 months because I want short loan. Otherwise if I didn't mind long loan, I would have gotten the 3er instead. But have to pay like 2.7 or 2.8k for 7 years feels not worth it at all and on top of that, the kind of depreciation those cars suffer, Urgh.
