Which branch is this?

It's the jalan Ipoh branch. Amcorp auto. The guy wasn't very happy and told me many times that their trainer himself taught them that the TSI has no swivel function.

I'm curious, does the bluetooth on the 2011 Volkswagen Polo work? And if yes, how? Cause the sales person says it doesn't.

No, I have a Golf which also has a moot button. The Bluetooth module can be retrofitted outside but would set you back by about RM2k

Sigh. I called up my SA who then passed the phone to a more senior SA who still claimed that the head lights should not swivel. He kept thinking that I meant the fog light, had to spent 2 full minutes repeating to him that I was talking about the xenon headlight. When he finally understood my question, instead of telling me he is unsure he went back to explaining how the fog light works when I check the 'bend lighting' option.

Mavik, if you don't mind. Can you tell me the settings of your mdf? To be absolutely sure, is there anyone out there who got a 2012 golf 1.4 who can tell me that his headlight swivel?

Haha the SA was very upset that I brought up some feature that he's not aware of and kept claiming that there's no such feature. As for me, I'm always baffled when ppl's logic allow them to think that having not seen a UFO is the proof of there being no UFO. So I told the guy nicely that I wouldnt trouble him any further and I would find out myself.
*
Wow I am really baffled by how little a SA knows about the product that they are selling....

straight to the point... u go ask SC do a diagnostic on xenon projector swiveling OR get someone with VCDS/VAGCOM to run the diagnostic

this applies to all vw, oem bluetooth is a separate module.
all vw radio players doesn't have inbuild bluetooth

This only applies to models sold officially in Malaysia due to local regulations that VGM seem to have some issues in complying with. Elsewhere, the BT module is standard

afaik rcd & rns doesn't have bluetooth built in together with them
from my info, if bluetooth comes with car it's usually the bluetooth module (9wz i think)

Polo doesn't have bluetooth. You can navigate into the RCD and set bluetooth on but without bluetooth module, 9WZ, it would not function. The module is sold at about RM1875, includes installation. Price could be lower depending on how you source for parts.

There is another module 9W7 which doesn't support iphone 4 rSAP function.

Since it is quite pricey, plenty of ppl has resorted to finding other HU with GPS and build in bluetooth.

Hi all the sifu, this is my first post here, hoping to get some info from all the sifus.

my golf 1.4 tsi's machatronic gave away about 1 month ago at the millege of 20k sth. had it in the SC for 3 weeks and replaced the faulty unit under warrenty. took the car back last week, but last night outta blue, my car got overheating, and the check engine light came out. right now the car is at sg.besi SC again and all they can tell me is that they are still 'checking the wiring". any sifu had any sort of similar experience?

my job requires a lot of traveling and my car is giving me a massive headache these 2 months, to the extent where i started to doubt my decision of getting it at the first place... hope all the sifu here can share some lights. thanks a lot

Yup I faced those same issues. In the end, I sold off my car. Couldn't stand having to hang around the SC so many times as well as wait so long for warranty such as the mechatronics etc..etc...etc..

how to test?
when my gear at P gear, i turn steering din see headlamp turn also  doh.gif

It wont swirl on static. kinda hard to recognize, but when in dark area, u can try use high beam light driving along then turn left right left right, better if that place got tree or something, u can see the light turn here and there.

so the SC didn't manage to solve all the issues for you? since you sold off your car at the end of the day... damn i thought this would be a long term car....gotta consider the possibility of selling it now...
