QUOTE(blugear @ Apr 9 2012, 07:38 AM) I also just booked polo yesterday.. cant wait.. Guys, is it true we dont need to do run in period for the car? Like 1000km must go below certain speed.. If you read the Golf manual, it is stated that there is a run in period of the first 1,500km. Whether you choose to follow or not is entirely up to you |

Service maintenance cost of both Golf TSi and GTi updated:
http://kensomuse.blogspot.com/2012/04/volk...day-run-by.html Might be some difference between service centers and over period of time but generally, the figure should not differ overtly much from the charts which I obtained from one of the authorized SCs |

QUOTE(ma43q @ Apr 11 2012, 06:38 AM) i had seen the polo sedan in volkswagen kuching about a month ago. 2 cars were parked at the 2 floor and fully covered with canvas. I was shown the 2 cars and if not mistaken, powered by 1.6L NA engine with DSG if i remember correctly. Anyway, the car offer bigger boot space and i think more spacious than the polo sport ----> family car. However, i still prefer the polo sport Heard the Polo sedan will be launched towards the middle of this month. |

QUOTE(gavind87 @ Apr 11 2012, 11:55 PM) am considering buying a used Golf mk 6 In every VW manual, there is a page that says the rim sizes the car can take. So long as you keep within this range, your warranty should not be affected (yeah, compared to Japanese which does not allow you to change anything, this is different)I've seen some that have changed their rims / HU. the dealer claims it is still in warranty, but I have my doubts since I am only taking their word for it. How can I know for sure whether it is still in warranty before jumping in and buying it |

Hmmm, mine was relatively pleasant. I've had my fair share of bad SAs but did encounter good ones in Glenmarie FA Wagan, Wearnes Sg Besi and Veemer, Old Klang Road

Anyone knows what is an appropriate amount to renew insurance for a 1 year old Golf 1.4 TSi? Insurance company said to renew at RM140k but a quick check in Mudah shows the 2nd hand value of a 1 year old car to be around RM130k
