Reverse camera? Do u mean reverse light?

Yup i booked a golf gti se n the sa told me i'll be getting it by end of march or early april 2012. This year vw only bring 60 units of gti se n all of them are sold out.
However, if i'm not mistaken the sa told me all 2012 model golf gti will be like se where they will come with sunroof, 18" detroit wheels, rcd510, cruise control n all.

I'm not really sure that all 2012 model will be the same as se, thats what my sa told me. But i think it'd be better to just specify that u want the se model when u book it. Or u can ask ur sa about it when u want to book it later. I told my sa that i want the gti se n she said all the 2012 model will be coming with se specs

When u booked ur golf gti did u specify to the sa that u want the se model?
I'm getting mine in march/april too but i already told the sa that i want the se model

My cousin who's studying in london bought his r32 for 16k pounds.
But if u want to bring it to malaysia its still expensive when u include the price for shipping n tax

Yea hope so too i'd love it if the 2012 golf gti already come with the golf r led rear light together with the dlr front light so i can save my rm2k to change the rear light later .
But i doubt it will come with that abt rims.
I've watched a few videos of 2012 golf gti from the youtube too.
The 2012 golf gti in europe come with all the golf gti se specs like dlr light, 18" rims, sunroof, rcd510 & cruise control, but with more addition such as push start, golf ball shaped dsg gear & the rims are serron 18" rims instead of the standard detroit rims. Some of them already come with golf r led rear light but some don't.
So i wonder whats the specs for 2012 golf gti that will be brought to malaysia next year. Guess we have to wait till march/april next year to find out huh

Haha yea but that would differenciate it from the previous models right?
The serron rims n golf ball shaped gear are actually for golf gti adidas special edition but some of the 2012 golf gti in europe come with those too.
When did u book yours? What colour did u choose?

The car is already available now? Oh my what a temptation. I booked mine n it will only be available on march. I'll ask my parents first whether i can let go of the one i booked n take ur extra one to get it now. Whats the price? Which dealer is it from?

Someone already posted this video here before. But this one is the japanese spec. Not sure whether we will get the same spec here in malaysia for our 2012 golf gti right. Usually the spec for different country is different like the one for euro are different i've seen the euro 2012 golf gti review video too

Wow it would be so nice if we could get the e35 for next year golf gti model. Hope mine will be that model this coming march

Actually i wanted to get the car as soon as i could too but it was out of stock. The sa told me i need to book n wait till end of march or early april next year to get it. But then the sa also told me its not that bad to just book it n wait because the one that will arrive for that batch is the new 2012 model. I've been waiting for 2 months now, 3 or 4 more months to go

I don't think he even used a timewatch i think he just counted the 3 seconds by himself so its not really accurate n besides his friend didn't go from 0-130kmph in 3 seconds, it was from already moving speed so that can't really be counted right?

Rocco 2.0 and golf gti 2.0 which one is faster? With stock spec without any mods

Will be getting my car soon, in a month or so. I've been waiting since october last year the sa told me the car will arrive sometime around end of march or early april. But does anyone knows more specifically when will golf gti 2012 model be available here? I really can't wait for it

Hmm the problem is my current car always got problem n i've spent a lot to repair it. That's why i hope my new car will arrive soon n hope my current car can hang on without anymore problems till the new car arrives. I guess i'll just ask my sa about it. Nah i want the new 2012 model i guess just a few more months waiting is worth it. Same i booked csg too

Just went to vw jalan ampang branch with my cousin because he wanted to book a scirocco 1.4, and also i wanted to ask about the arriving date of my golf gti.

My cousin manage to book a scirocco 1.4 2012 model white colour, which is the last stock available for that colour, with 2.5% discount. The car is already in stock so now he's just waiting for the loan process to be approved n then he can get his car.

Golf gti 2012 model
I asked about the arriving date of my car too, the sa told me it was delayed a bit so it will arrive in end of this month, or high probability it will arrive somewhere in april, but the latest is still by april not may. For the spec, its the same as golf gti se 2011 no more no less.

Polo gti
As for polo gti, if u book now u'll only get it by next year because the waiting list is too long n the new price haven't been finalised yet. The price will increase around 15k or so because other company like bmw complained the polo gti price is too low for that kind of spec so it affects their car sales.

Scirocco r
Vw malaysia won't be bringing that car because the price is too high. Even the recond scirocco r is already more than 300k so the price for a new car will be higher, which they think the demand won't be good.

Golf r
@mavik, i asked about the detuned from 270ps to 255ps too, the sa said that's not true. The horsepower is 265 which is the same as golf r in other country. The sa said the humid condition in our country does not affect the horsepower of the car at all. Now i don't know which is true, i'm just telling what the sa told me just now

Hi. I booked mine in october too. I booked it from my sa which is in wearnes bangsar but yesterday when i called the sa n told her i want to go see her to book a scirocco for my cousin she said she was at her hq which is in jalan ampang n she asked me to go there instead. I'm not sure mine is around what number in the waiting list but she said i'll get my car in the 1st batch that will be available in end of this month or latest is in next month.

Maybe because i booked mine from bangsar branch which the waiting list is not that long, or maybe because my cousins are quite close with the sa since previously they've bought 2 golf gti and a scirocco from the same sa, mine was the 4th purchase, and yesterday we booked another scirocco for the 5th purchase from the same sa

Yup. I even called the sa again yesterday to triple check with her n she said she's quite sure my car will arrive latest is still in april. But that is for golf gti. For polo gti i don't know because the waiting list is longger n all. Even my sa told me if people book polo gti now they will only get it by next year n the price will be increased too. How about yours? Did your sa say anything about the price whether it remains the same as when u booked or it increases too? Since u already booked it since last november
