3 VWs were here today at Bling Detailing Haus. The other one is also a red Polo GTI which came in the morning. To all dear VW owners, you can now pamper your cars over here at Bling with Meguiar's cleaning products.

Small Cars (Polo/Golf/Scirocco): RM12

Larger Cars (Passat, CC, Sharan, Tiguan, Eos, Touareg, etc): RM15

(Prices are inclusive of interior vacuuming)

***All general wash come with a 24 hour rain-rewash guarantee. (which means if it rains after we washed your car, you can come over the next day and your car wash will be free***

We have packages too! Also, we will bring in Meguiar's products to sell in the near future and price would be much cheaper than in Ace Hardware.

For more information, please call: 03-80818099 (Victor) or visit our Facebook Group: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Bling-Detail...283744355048468 biggrin.gif

Thanks.

Anyway, any updates on the price increase for Polo GTI?

I'm really starting to suspect what my SA told me - that the bi-xenon lights do not swivel and it's only the fog lights. Btw I drive a golf.

Paultan's blog said it pretty clear that the light swivels and I've read a few overseas forum. I turned off 'travel mode' in the mfi but it doesn't work either.

My light is on "auto" mode, what did I miss?

Try this in dark area/carpark/night, with your car facing wall so that can see easily.
- Remember put the head-light switch to Auto
- Put key in, turn and start the engine as usual.
- You should see the headlights got up/down/left/right/centre.

If not, bring back to SC/SA and ask them.

If engine already started, then only switch from Off -> Auto, it won't work.

It should swivel, because when I had my Golf when ever I made a turning and I was facing a wall, I can easily see the lights swivel to the direction I am turning.

The headlight does move Up-down and left-right during start up. This is the regular self-check I suppose. But it doesn't swivel when I drive.

From overseas forum, it seems that there's a speed range, and need to uncheck the travel mode too. It is just still not working.

The SA who sold me could not get it to work hence she asked another colleague who then told her that it wasn't suppose to swivel. So I feel reluctant to call them.

-----------------

It just hit me that maybe it does swivel but I can't tell yet. There's no way to try it with a stationary car because it only swivels while it's moving between a speed range. Dang. I guess I'll just have to observe a little harder over time. Thanks for trying to help.

has anyone went for the free software upgrade on the7 speed dry clutch gearbox?

if yes, how is the performance like? was the performance impacted?

the reason i'm asking is because someone told me that the performance would be affected once we upgrade it. Would like to know what are other VW member experience before i booked a time for an upgrade.

P/S: I'm sorry if this has been discuss before.

i have sent mine for upgrade.

after upgrade, the gearbox is very smooth, otherwise if from Gear 1 to Gear 2, it will be chokking. now is very smooth.

as for the performance, did not really compare, i feel the same.

Bro, you just don't get it is it? The light swivels.

I can easily calibrate the lights to swivel as well during startup to adjust. Also when you adjust the height of the light when it shines, you need to calibrate it to ensure that it is level. I can guarantee that the lights swivel unless your Golf came without the light and sound package. I know this because for those who bought the Golf with the light and sound package, you can see the ballast and the leveler connected to the headlights.

Im driving Jetta.

interior space slightly smaller than passat
build quality is good, same like other VW model. that salesman is not doing homework, ask him go home study well. Not knowing own product. U can simply google to see where is the origin of Jetta.

for interior, if you change to full leather, then u might not feel that is it Jetta, instead a Passat smile.gif

IMO, its not worth the penny. Inside too plastic, too cut cost product from VW. I will better buy an altis better with the price tag.
