Just booked a red 4 door Polo GTI from Federal Auto in Glenmarie. The deposit was RM1.3k and the waiting time is about 8 months.

Nope. I was told that there are two batches of Polo GTI coming this year. One is in April/May and another in July/August. If I am not wrong, April 29 2011 would be the date of the official launch of the Golf R and Passat CC R. Volkswagen Beetle will be officially launched around June. There will have 3 variants, 1.2 tsi, 1.4 tsi and 2.0 tsi.

I would like to ask if anyone who had booked the new Polo GTI Mk5 has been told that the car will arrive in July/August. The SA told me that's the 2nd batch, also the last batch coming this year.

Yea, that's what I heard too. He told me mine is the second batch as I have booked in early December last year. When is urs coming and when did you book?

Hey bro. I understand that you have reviewed the latest Polo GTI. I have booked a 5 door unit and it's coming by late June. Just wanna ask if there's any different between the 3 door and 5 door in terms of space, driving dynamics, etc? Which one would you prefer? I was planning to change to 3 door cuz I don't carry passengers very often.

I booked the Polo GTI last year November, any idea if my car will arrive by late June? Becuz that's what I heard from most people...

I've heard about the price increasing from people in the forum but my SA didn't tell me anything about that. Besides that, I was told that my car will arrive in late June or early July.

Anyone getting their Polo GTI (2nd batch) this June/July? Anyway, any reviews on the RDS 510 (latest 1)?

Yesterday, I saw a Polo GTI (White) with a number plate "WWP 555" in Taylor's Lakeside Campus outdoor parking. Can't believe that fella parked his new car in the muddy rock parking.

I just sent my car to Bling Detailing Haus for cleaning, look how it shines now! If you look closely, we also have a Crosstouran in the shop. The owner sent the car for polishing (RM200).
