QUOTE(overfloe @ Jan 13 2012, 09:34 AM) I applied online. the standard unifi router will work fine with notebooks, but not so well with smartphones. For smartphone is it you have to set from 20/40MHz auto to 20MHz only? saw this in some post. BTW, my desktop using cheapo ProLink WN2001 USB dongle, does that support UNIFI? |

BTW, my desktop using cheapo ProLink WN2001 USB dongle, does that support UNIFI? - hmmm. mine still standard setting on dir615 and never change frequency since use. both smartphone (my galaxy w & my wife's galaxy mini) works very well without hiccup. youtube, opera, marketplace run perfectly.yes. i heard some smartphone hard to get dir615 wifi signal. as far as i know, iphone/ipad have this issue. need to change frequency to 20mhz - any wifi usb dongle should get wifi signal. i conect my UNIFI by using cisco usb wifi. before this use aztech usb522 but kong already This post has been edited by eqmal197: Jan 13 2012, 10:58 AM |

Of course it works on smartphones, but connection always drop.I do not have experience with the dongle, but I am sure it'll work. |

Anyway i just emailed TM on assistance on this...keep you guys posted... I didn't flash anything on the DIR-615. It is as it is when it comes from TM. I'm not the only one that got it working. I think klseet also have it running after I mentioned the DIR615 print server function. I had a problem when I first use it and I suspect my antivirus is blocking the access. I then set up filter so that all traffic on the particular internal IP is allowed. So far so good then... |

Just for reference, I've changed the setting recently from Auto to 20MHz and so far it's been working alright on my iPhone/iPad. Will keep on monitoring and report if there's any issue. |

For my wireless settings, if I set mixed mode b/g/n. If all my devices are N-enabled except for 1, the wireless mode for all devices will automatically drop to G?
