QUOTE(SnoWFisH @ Jan 11 2012, 05:24 PM) Mine is penang. The contractor kena a few times already......he said he's quite pissed off at TM cuz they couldnt complete installation for a few places, so no commission for them. You're lucky it is just 2 hrs. Mine already delayed for a month and still no solution in sight all becuase TM could not find key to their own manhole. Looks like I'll wait till after CNY before bugging them again. Now no mood already and my 1mbps streamyx has been working quite well even when there were report of slowness due to undersea cable fault. In the Orange TM router user guide, it states that the usb port on the DIR-615 supports SharePort, so you can automatically share you printer or usb storage on the network. Anyone verified this? How to change? Go to myUnifi to change? I asked the contractor on how to change the password, he told me have to call unifi to change it, i cant change it manually....ask me y i wan to change....i told him i wan to use unifi email, of course i have to change the pw. |

I got a reply from TM regarding the USB port on our DIR 615 issue, they acknowledged it (no idea if they really know what I'm talking about), and escalated it to their R&D team.

![]() QUOTE(prasys @ Jan 12 2012, 04:07 PM) Depending. I asked them to pull LAN cable from up to down my house . So those are some additional costs which involved on top of the normal fees. Edit : I can't comment on apartments , this is for landed property Apartment like mine...difficult to open the ground cover. So, the technician needs to pull the cable from few metres away. Luckily mine was RM100. Not stingy but if I knew there's additional charges, I would have stand by some money. Luckily I have RM100 in my wallet. I just got a reply from the TM R&D, they told me that in the latest batch of the DIR-615 the USB port has been disabled due to it causing instability to the device. They are still doing investigation on how to rectify it... Luckily I'm in meeting otherwise I continue bomb them liao why they nvr update their user manual.
