QUOTE(MEngineer @ Nov 11 2011, 09:36 AM) Yup if you apply via online, you will get the rebate. It works like this, for this month since your installation is in the mid month, TM will waived the pro-rated first month bill and the balance of the waiver will be deducted in your second month bill. You can check your bills online once you get your first bill. By the way, I've asked TMpoint officer on the free 1 month subscription is only applicable for VIP 20? I was wondering do you received paper bills as I only get online bills for this 2 month duration.

QUOTE(MEngineer @ Nov 11 2011, 10:46 AM) I get both kind of bills online and by snail mail . Firstly I need to point out to you that "free one month subscription is only available by online registration and not 3rd party resellers". I have asked one lyn unifi dealer that person told me if apply via him/her there will be no 1 month free subscription. If online application you still don't get the rebate you can call to check with TM. Yeah. I think that's a huge mistake I have made. So every subscribers yet to get an official receipt from snail mail right? Because of the online bills keeps accumulates the amount to almost RM500 in between 3 months really makes me shiver whereas I didn't get any snail mails from them. Is it good for the me to sit back and relax and pay when only I got the paper bill or ??

seriously, i think partially is about your luck. it's not about either agent or online. my experience is worst. i go with the "express installation" but my neighbour installs on the same week just register from the tm booth camping outside our neighbourhood, mentioned that will terminate my streamyx and phone line, didn't terminate yet, and the phone bill keep charge. oh gosh. went to tm point terminate twice. no resolution. yet fly one report to skmm, and they told me no termination done by the agent. hais. don't know whether i can get my phone deposit or not and the charges. terrible wait, wait and wait for my unifi bill comes, never come, didn't mentioned that no paper billing also. luckily i go pay by myself 1st. pay bill even more sad. at 1st i thought i was entitled to get free 1 month installation, but in the end it doesn't. i need to pay 1 month pro rated + 1 month advance. really feel like cheated. OMG
haven't say until my installer. overcharged me for rm350 installation, at 1st quote me at rm500, cheated on the length of the cable. didn't install properly, make my house roof leak like nobody business, every time rain 1st floor flood, need call for roof specialist numerous time to rectify the matter. damm frust. somemore messed up with my neighbour because they step on their roof instead of mine. oh goddd.

TM posted their grateful appreciation on their website for their 200,000 subscribers support. In a way, they're covering up their investment cost. 200,000 x subscription fees, they're making millions in a month. I was wondering what are they going to do with the bandwidth limits? Implement it or let it be as for now? Are they going to remove 5Mbps with minimum 10Mbps packages? What about enrolling 50Mbps or 100Mbps packages? With that kind number of subscribers, I still feel OK with the service. Some might already face degradation. I think. I really hope that they can revise their price as many users signed up, at least make it on par with SG's telco price. This post has been edited by eternity4av: Dec 21 2011, 10:38 AM
