1st cc is for reference only, but this year the cc approval is more stringent. sup card normally won't have any requirement.

They won't process it during weekend. No point. They'll process it on next Monday.

This year I managed to get it done/transacted on a Sat. You have to tell the telemarketer specifically you want to transact on a Sat. See pic for proof.

maybankard2 doesn't not have Visa already? Only Amex and Master Card? Asked the woman at the counter she said if want Visa need to apply standalone Visa Infinite.

Applied my MBB 2 cards thru their offer after getting their car loan. I requested for visa as I've got ocbc titanium master. Though visa and master is essentially the same now, if it's possible I want visa. I request and I got it.

Me used CC at Singapore no additional charges.... biggrin.gif

Are you sure there are no additional charges? It is normally factored inside the exchange rate, so you must compare your actual rate vs a known reference to see whether there is any service charge. Normally there is.

Used my MBB 2 Amex card on 31st Dec 2011 for Getha. Surprisingly the transaction is still "floating" according to MBB customer service, pending from mechant's claim. Unfortunately also is that (according to MBB customer service), the rebate from that transaction will not be counted in Dec 2011 or Jan 2012 rebate limit since it is still "floating".

Is this true?

why worry, if it floats forever, you'll be more happy with no cash back laugh.gif

how much is the SGD, and how much being charged in MYR?

i went there last christmas.. and the MYR charged in Maybankard2 AMEX was 2.51 x SGD.
but it's worth it, cause i get 5% rebate and the points.

Supp card is not taken into consideration for Principal card application.

What dilemma - either you qualify or you don't doh.gif

From what i see is the exchange rate is the same as the bank.....i think in SGD1=RM2.45. It is even cheaper than some of the FOREX counter.... tongue.gif

The bank's sell rate to you already includes their fee/profit element. You need to compare to something else like XE or the MasterCard site: http://www.mastercard.com/global/currencyc...sion/index.html

Hmm...i see, so the bank sell rate higher means is their service fee lar....but is ok for me since that i bought from FOREX dealer also same rate, so better use credit card so no need to find those FOREX dealer.......
