SenQ has a current offer for Citibank CC - Samsung Galaxy S2 at RM100 off. The list price for the phone is RM1,899. So I charged RM1,000 to the Citibank CC (equivalent 10% disc), used up 100,000 treat points for RM500 and paid the balance RM299 using Amex2 (another RM22 at 7.5%) card. Free gift included a Belkin bumper case and 1+2 years warranty. I think it was a good deal.

You can also opt to pay by 0% instalment if you wish but I was not up to it.

I have signed up some direct debits using Maybank cards before and I wish to terminate them and transfer to another bank CC. Is there a way I can check on M2U site the current active direct debit ones? I have given instructions to the merchants concerned but am afraid they may not carry it out.

Do it on Sat thru phone. I gave them the CID number on the front and also got the 5% plus 5x points.

This year I managed to get it done/transacted on a Sat. You have to tell the telemarketer specifically you want to transact on a Sat. See pic for proof.

Hey guys , How do you make use of the Complimentary Platinum Parking as advertised by maybank at 1 Utama?

When I visited HK and China several times last year I was asked if I wanted the CC charges to be made in local currency or my home currency. I always preferred the local currency ie HKD or RMB to get a better rate. However some terminals in China automatically charged the purchase in my home currency (RM). Any comments from others?

Better to sup only the Amex card and cancel the Mastercard to max the benefits. The RM25 sup fee for Mastercard (Maybank2 cards) does not bring additional benefits.
