LOL Sometimes their staff also not updated one. FYI, Saving/Current account holder can opt for that card.
Which branch is that ? I changed mine in Sunway's branch. Perhaps you can try there also.

Hi there, I am a clueless person about debit cards (and anything related to bank matters). Now I want to purchase an item costing RM1000 but I do not want to pay 1 lump sum. I have a Public Bank VISA card (iinm it's a Day-2-Day card, ATM one), can I use it for installment?

So far, which debit card gives the best fuel rebate? I searched and it seems PB-Esso debit card gives 1% rebate. Anyone here has better offers?

Actually when we withdraw money at oversea. How is the rate calculate? Based on visa/MasterCard plus any % imposed by the bank then added withdrawal charges?

Hi everyone, just want to have a quick check, since most ppl using PB D2D Debit Card and MayBank "Cherry" Debit Card:

What is the interest rate earn in the account that link to the those 2 cards above? (Interest rate earn depends on the balance inside, but let say Erm.. below RM5000?)

Is it 0% for PB and 2.1% for MayBank? Correct me if I wrong. Thanks for the info^^

This is frustrating, few weeks ago I opened a new CIMB account and they said their new bank card can withdraw AND buy online items. And now when I tried using it to buy some stuff, it gets rejected. I tried calling the customer service but they said the function doesn't exist yet, so either I've to open a credit card account or debit account. And then just now I went to their branch (UPM) to open a debit account and they said it's not possible at the moment. seriously what the f?

For Public Bank, it depends on what type of savings or current account you have. Same goes to Maybank. The 2.10% per annum interest is applicable for M2U Savers account which can only be open online and you need to have at least RM2,000 in your account to be eligible for the 2.10% interest (conventional M2U Savers).

New bank card ? Does it have a MasterCard logo ? Anyway, for your information, none of their debit card is supported for online transaction. Currently, only CIMB Bank credit card can be used for online transaction.
