I have been using Public Bank, Maybank and Hong Leong's debit card. For me the best debit card is still by Public Bank. As long as there is money in your account, the transaction will get approved no matter what.

For Maybank depends on luck, sometimes can, sometimes cannot. Hong Leong is the worse. Buy Yes credits cannot, validate paypal also cannot, buy apple apps also cannot.

I heard about the PB Esso debit card. Plan to change to that to save some points since I always visit Esso. smile.gif

Well I have no idea what is wrong with my card actually. I called the card services they tell me the card savings account is invalid or got error. Previously I was able to purchase steam games. I visited their branch last week and they told me everything is fine and the account number was correct.

No idea. rclxub.gif

Public Bank ESSO VISA debit card. It doesn't have annual fee, no need to open a separate account and it comes with 0.5% cash back (1% for ESSO petrol) which is probably among the best of all debit cards available in Malaysia. Top-up can be done via any PBB cash deposit machines or over the counter. You can initiate an online funds transfer too if you have a PBB savings or current account. This debit card also comes with a monthly statement so you can easily keep track of your past spending. And yes, you can sign up for PBB online banking too for this debit card.

What is the difference of this PBB Esso card compared to say, PBB Day2Day card?
I notice that they will charge RM10 for withdrawal transactions other than from PBB ATM?

HLB Debit card (ATM Card) can also be used to do online purchases.
I just used it to verify paypal and make payment for membership fees.

I am planning to use it on an upcoming oversea sales.

I have the Public Bank debit card, not using it anymore. How to safely dispose it?

Call bank to cancel card.
After that can give to your son or daughter as toys.

So far, which debit card gives the best fuel rebate? I searched and it seems PB-Esso debit card gives 1% rebate. Anyone here has better offers?

Anyone knows how to get debit card statement for Maybank? The one available at Maybank2u is account statement. I need the card statement that shows debit card transaction only.
