What is the difference of this PBB Esso card compared to say, PBB Day2Day card?
I notice that they will charge RM10 for withdrawal transactions other than from PBB ATM?
*
PBB ESSO card can get u 1% cash back when u pump petrol at ESSO and MOBILE.... also mega cashback 0.5% for retailer spending.

PBB Day2Day card get u 0.8% cash back when u pump petrol at any petrol station (SHELL, BHP, ESSO, MOBILE, etc)... and 0.3% cash back for retailer spending....

what about maybank visa debit card? coz my friend told me maybank visa debit card not recognised by acca n itune.

so that means pbb visa debit better than maybank? if pbb can really do all these transactions then i'll just go for pbb.

but the only prob with pbb is that thy have limited atm. lol maybank n cimb is saturated in most malls.even in college also thy have cimb n maybank. so no need walk so far.

Debit card and certain credit card are not recognized by itunes when u doing the registration. You can purchase the app using MBB and PBB debit card...

Thanks for clarification.

Can't believe the staffs at Maybank didn't bother explaining this when I told them I will be using the card for online transactions.

It depend on which branch of Maybank you are going. The staff are not even well-trained regarding their own product. I once enquiry their staff regarding the Maybankard Cherry Debit Mastercard. The answer I get from Maybank staff is Maybank do not have the Debit Mastercard and only have credit card mastercard. Also accused me that I see wrongly the information. doh.gif doh.gif doh.gif

PLUS Savings Account or any of the regular savings account from Public Islamic Bank. Last time basic savings account cannot be issued with the PBB D2D VISA debit card, not sure if things have changed though.
Except PBB D2D VISA debit card. This card is issued only with a PBB savings or current account  smile.gif
Yes. You do.
For PBB PLUS Savings Account, the minimum deposit must be maintained all the time is only RM1.
*
Noe PBB changed the policy. You can have PBB D2D card with basic saving and no annual fee been charged but you need to maintain RM20 in your account all the time.

If you using the Debit card (you can use as credit card and the number that appear are same as credit card).... So far I heard is CIMB still cant have any online transaction but that is few month ago....

hii hii for maybank debit card ...lets say my annual fee is waived ..meaning i am entitled to 4 cash withdrawals right? the free withdrawals are renewed every start of the month or the date my card is created?

or will they prompt me that there will be charges if i already exceeded the 4 withdrawals ?

sorry noob here  icon_question.gif
*
It renew every 1st of the month... During your fourth visit, there will appear in yr atm statement when your last 4th time withdraw, inform you that you already fulfill the four time free withdrawal.. Then next time you withdraw again, they will charge u RM0.50 unless you still have RM5k/ 3k after you withdraw the money in your bank account.. Then it wouldn't have any charges.

Hi all, i have 2 questions to ask here regarding my PB day2day debit card
1, do i need to register or anything to make purchases from shop?
2, why i can only access ATM machine but not Cash deposit machine?
*
1. I think you need to have the online account if I not mistaken... Also u need to register the Verified by Visa... I purchase online many time and all the time, it ask me either the Verified by VISA or PAC code...
2. It wasn't any atm card so I think it can't access the Cash Deposit Machine.. So u need remember your saving acc number.. I tried it many times and it only can access the ATM but not Cash Deposit machine..

Hope the above have answered yr Q
