Yesterday, i went to ATM to check the balance in my PB visa Electron Debit Card. i still have RM266 in my debit card and authorized charges of Rm188. i tried to transfer rm200 into other account but failed and it seemed like if i exceed the limit of the charges, i can't transfer my money. Anyone can clarify more about the authorized charges? is it the same as the annual fees? can i get my money back if i cancel my debit card? thank you.

RM266 - RM188 = RM78
That is your available balance...Until the authorized transaction is reversed. Authorized means "locking" aka reserving your credit. |

QUOTE(MilesAndMore @ Sep 27 2011, 10:40 AM) Quoted from Debit Card V2 thread regarding my question on "1) Let say i would like to purchase something through Amazon, will there be additional charges to it in USD?"Loss in forex as in base on this m2u forex rates or i base on this Visa Exchange website? So there is additional admin fee of 0.5% is it? Yesterday just went to change my withdrawal transaction fee, they told me don't have additional charges if i purchase online. Could someone please kindly give me the link showing the 0.5% admin fee needed for online purchases? Thanks again for all the help given people! Appreciate it. |

I am very sure that there will be 0.5% admin fee for all transactions involving any other currency other than MYR. The thing is, there is no detailed statement for debit card. However, for those using their credit card, it is written clearly at the back of the statement that there will be 0.5% admin fee for foreign transaction.Loss in forex as in base on this m2u forex rates or i base on this Visa Exchange website? Regarding the conversion rate, anyone know which one should i use? m2u rates or visa rates? |

How does the Maybank MSOS work? I went to update my TAC number few days ago at Maybank branch, and they say MSOS is not needed anymore? If that is so, then why do I still get errors when purchasing stuff online? I'm using Maybank Visa Debit Card.
p/s The card was successfully verified by Paypal. |

Was updated to it automatically but my transaction seems to be always unsuccessful. I'm using the debit card as well. After two days of trying I used another bank's credit card instead got it got through on my first try.p/s The card was successfully verified by Paypal. Talk about implementing extra security. |
