QUOTE(B.S.O.D @ Nov 11 2011, 05:19 PM) hi guys, i have a few questions to ask.. Sorry, I have not tried to shop with the card yet, and Yes, it has 16 digits numbers in front and 3 CVV no. at the back. No, my name isn't embossed on the card. Can U do online shopping with that card? Does it have a 16 Digit numbers in front and 3 Digit CVV number at back? And is your name embossed on the card? 1 more thing, I'm not sure if this is true or not, if you intended to convert to the debit card from a bank card and you're using passbook-less account, such as airasia saver, you must apply for the card at branch where you apply for your saving / current account. FYI, I've done mine in Kl sentral. . |

can you preference it to auto reload if the value inside the car falls other than 50? for instant , 20 as example ?
How about the amount to reload? can you manipulate it? This post has been edited by foxxy: Dec 16 2011, 02:10 PM |

QUOTE(moncold @ Feb 17 2012, 11:53 PM) ok, here's the thing. Can use to purchase flight ticket, no problem. eg if you're using Malaysia Airlines, at the payment section after you fill in all your card details, you will prompt to PBB payment page where you enter your pin etc. Quite user friendly from what i've experienced.im planning to apply for a debit card, but i would like to ask whether the public bank D2D debit card is able to be used for flight ticket purchases. And if it does, how does it go? charge it like any normal Visa credit card? or through something like maybank2u thingie? did browse through some pages in V2 but really got my eyes tired, sorry if this question was asked before, and thanks for anyone who has some answers Added on February 18, 2012, 12:40 am QUOTE(btan @ Feb 16 2012, 04:55 PM) how is the charge fees for BIG card?? like i am using for paying bills in restaurant, shopping and others.. registration fee is 10, annual fee is 5, can be waived out if you pay by the points imnm.Added on February 16, 2012, 3:57 pm how is the charge fees for BIG card?? like using in paying bills in restaurant and shopping... QUOTE(fyrogenesis @ Mar 3 2012, 10:21 PM) just type ur card number, and deposit the cash. done. easy as pie. Erm, my experience, bring ur cimb atm card, ur i.c is enough. And prepare RM8 for the charges converting atm card to debit card . I'm not sure whether the RM8 is waived for now or not.Added on March 3, 2012, 9:26 pm do you know what should i bring to apply cimb debit? i dun wan to come all the way, later just find out they need some fotocopies of some documents (eg, salary slip, ic, etc..). thx |

QUOTE(deejay220989 @ Jun 15 2012, 02:00 PM) No, I was not having any account with them, just that if I MUST have a current account for the card, then I will register for a current account Savings account also can. I'm using it. According to this link: http://www.maybank2u.com.my/mbb_info/m2u/p...sonal/CRD-Cards Hmm..means Savings account also can la..right? Looks nicer seriously haha Added on June 15, 2012, 2:45 pm QUOTE(yiyibrowers @ Jun 14 2012, 11:57 AM) Both cards are available on the saving account, i guess the same for current a/c.The significant difference for both of this card is the credit limit. You can swipe 5k daily for visa, 10k for master. Cheerss. Btw, the mastercard looks a lot nicer This post has been edited by foxxy: Jun 15 2012, 02:45 PM |

LOL Sometimes their staff also not updated one. FYI, Saving/Current account holder can opt for that card. Which branch is that ? I changed mine in Sunway's branch. Perhaps you can try there also. |

QUOTE(Chyan @ Jun 6 2013, 06:44 PM) Guys. I've just used my CIMB ATM / Debit Card (Mastercard) for a 15 days trial (free) on Deezer (a music streaming service like Spotify). It got through and CIMB charged me RM10 on my debit card via SMS notification. A fee I suppose? You're under which account Sir? In my case I'm using airasia-esaver, which no statement will be given unless you exceed a certain number of transaction within a month. You have to walk-in to the branch to request if that's the case, but I think the staffs there also reluctant to help, since I've tried once before. The thing is, where can I find the statement? I don't see any link for my debit card since it's basically my sole ATM card. Appreciate any answers. You might check any transaction that gone thru on cimbclicks ?? No date written on the webpage as well. Anyway Thanks for that, MilesAndMore. http://www.rhb.com.my/cards/debit-card/db_rhb_main.html And the annual fee is only RM8 but there is no cash back reward. |

QUOTE(sadmanex @ Jul 4 2013, 10:29 PM) hi guys Paypal is usable with Maybank debit card, I believe all debit cards are possible, you just have to link them with your paypal, correct me if I'm wrong. At the moment, there's no debit card with ambank yet.im noob in this debit card thing, before my bro use his card to buy online thing for me which i forgot to ask which card he used here the question,is cimb debit card still cant use with paypal? if not is maybank or ambank can use for it? For an easier transaction with Paypal, why not you go for RHB ? No frills, everything is instant, no need to link this link that and get the 6 digits code from the statement. |

Anyway with regard to the quite-newly-launched RHB debit card as above, if I'm not mistaken, this is a limited debit card as seen from the poster in one of the rhb branch in Kl sentral. I've just converted mine.

Thanks for informing. 15 still cannot beat rhb's blardy sucker 20 I believe the other banks will follow suit... They forced to charge less in IBG, so now they want to compensate back by increase the annual fee. This post has been edited by foxxy: Aug 20 2013, 02:22 AM |

QUOTE(franitalia @ Sep 4 2013, 07:58 PM) Hi guys i have a question on CIMB Mastercard debit card.I used it before to verify my paypal account, and it works. Now i'm trying to make online purchases via my paypal account, but it turns out that i have insufficient amount in it. I don't have a RHB account so i can't topup my paypal account,so does it mean that paypal will withdraw the amount from my CIMB account instead in order to pay for the purchase?. Most probably if the transaction goes through. |
