Converted my cimb bankcard into the new debit card, charged RM8, nothing special on the design of the card thou.

NOoooooo.... Can i request for a refund ? 8 sounds not much, but can pay 1 year of the annual fee leh ....

Sorry, I have not tried to shop with the card yet, and Yes, it has 16 digits numbers in front and 3 CVV no. at the back. No, my name isn't embossed on the card.

1 more thing, I'm not sure if this is true or not, if you intended to convert to the debit card from a bank card and you're using passbook-less account, such as airasia saver, you must apply for the card at branch where you apply for your saving / current account. FYI, I've done mine in Kl sentral. .

can you preference it to auto reload if the value inside the car falls other than 50? for instant , 20 as example ?
How about the amount to reload? can you manipulate it?

Can use to purchase flight ticket, no problem. eg if you're using Malaysia Airlines, at the payment section after you fill in all your card details, you will prompt to PBB payment page where you enter your pin etc. Quite user friendly from what i've experienced.

Erm, my experience, bring ur cimb atm card, ur i.c is enough. And prepare RM8 for the charges converting atm card to debit card . I'm not sure whether the RM8 is waived for now or not.

Savings account also can. I'm using it.

The significant difference for both of this card is the credit limit.
You can swipe 5k daily for visa, 10k for master.

LOL Sometimes their staff also not updated one. FYI, Saving/Current account holder can opt for that card.
Which branch is that ? I changed mine in Sunway's branch. Perhaps you can try there also.

You're under which account Sir? In my case I'm using airasia-esaver, which no statement will be given unless you exceed a certain number of transaction within a month. You have to walk-in to the branch to request if that's the case, but I think the staffs there also reluctant to help, since I've tried once before.
You might check any transaction that gone thru on cimbclicks ??

Paypal is usable with Maybank debit card, I believe all debit cards are possible, you just have to link them with your paypal, correct me if I'm wrong. At the moment, there's no debit card with ambank yet.

For an easier transaction with Paypal, why not you go for RHB ? No frills, everything is instant, no need to link this link that and get the 6 digits code from the statement.

Anyway with regard to the quite-newly-launched RHB debit card as above, if I'm not mistaken, this is a limited debit card as seen from the poster in one of the rhb branch in Kl sentral. I've just converted mine.
