I think, Malaysia's Debit Card can't use for online trasaction Paypal accept Credit Card ONLY

Please do not mislead other people and what you said is absolutely not true. Most debit cards issued by banks in Malaysia are good for online use except select few and all the information can be found in the Paypal thread as well as inside this thread.

I don't think as all debit card.... You should majority but maybe is minority.... As so far I read mostly all debit card can except the CIMB debit card...

Read that CIMB debit card cannot be used for online transaction.
What about its debit card issued with Airasia Savings acc, can that be used to purchase airasia tickets online?

I am using the Maybank cherry debit card at the moment. I have activated the overseas cash transaction. But somehow was not able to get cash from ATMs in China. Does anyone know which particular Chinese bank's ATM works with Maybank debit card? I have tried ATMs at Bank of China, Construction bank, Industrial and Commercial Bank and Bank of Communication. But all failed.

I was able to use the card for buying things at shopping malls in China though.

Any chance you have activated the card only for overseas EFTPOS use but not for overseas ATM cash withdrawal ?

I am quite sure I activated the cash option because on my previous trip I was not able to withdraw either. So I specifically went to a Maybank ATM to check and activated the overseas withdrawal. Not sure if it has something to do with the banks I have tried so far. Maybe international banks like HSBC or Citybank ATM might work. I'll try again later.

But if anybody has any clue, do let me know.

anyone has problem when insert Maybank mastercard debit card into Itunes? I'm using Maybank platinum Master debit card, would like to purchase something from itunes but end up it says "Payment method declined" and I'm sure all the details i key in is correct.

In maybank2u page click on the Cards section, on right bottom u see MSOS & have click on it (for your Reference)

U MUST Register as maybank2U User 1st

1) U must go to maybank ATM, main menu select maybank2U Services

2) Select Maybank2U Application

3) Key in your own 6 digit Maybank2u.com PIN (new PIN), NOT your Debit Card PIN

4) Key in same pin to Confirm & for the Secuirity reasons your pin Won't be print on the receipt just blank paper

5) Remember the PIN, used it for 1st time log in www.maybank2u

6) After U have finished register as maybank2u user, go to maybank2u again to register your Debit Card for Online Purchase
click on Maybank Secure Online Shopping Registration. select "Utilities" funtion

& Fil in your Card no., Password, etc...after that submit it a Successful registration notification will appear once registration is successful & Complete

Now u can use your Debit Card for Online Shopping

But but there's alot of forumers said that Platimum Mastercard can be used for online purchase too...

Erm..I'm already m2u user, but the MSOS under "Utilities" function does not appear..finding everywhere..but can't find any

it is no longer done so. Not for a year or longer already. Besides, the answer can be found in just the previous page. Do take some time to go through some of the previous posts.

I've read some the post from page 1 to last page, but I don't really understand what those means, is activate oversea withdrawal allows me to use my debit for online purchase??

I even google this problem, but don't have any solution, most of the answer is outdated, there's no MSOS such option in the M2U, some said problem solved, but no solution is provided.
