not many insurance can accept amex, normally visa/master even auto billing

why no rebate for pay insurance?
5% is for what transaction ?
Did they even mentioned?

last time used to pay insurance such as medical card, car insurance, endowment by OCBC Titanium, cash rebate 1%...
already cancelled this card, now got to use MBB2card Visa

May I know the atm card that I register at cimb is debit card or credit card ? because I register paypal and I dont know whether it is debit card or credit card.

Which branch u got this from? I went to KLCC branch this morning and they gave a lame excuse that the system not yet updated to issue this card.

If you are talking about the card that was given to your when you opened your savings or current account at CIMB, then that's a debit card.


Very lame indeed! I got mine changed to this new Maybank VISA PayWave Platinum debit card last week and at that time, they had not issue a single card out yet. The reason was the same as your, which is system has not been updated yet. But they can update their system in just about 5 minutes. They took a stack of the new Maybank VISA PayWave Platinum debit cards from the back office and gave me one right away.

If your card tied to saving account, then is debit card.

If there is no visa/mastercard logo there.
Then is atm card

Have you change your Debit card already?

Because I went to MBB branch asked about it and get to know that unable to change now due to still have few months to go.

Haven't change yet. But next week will walk in MBB branch as the MBB staff say Maybank Visa Paywave will be arrive stock on next week.

I asked MBB staff mention that I will eligible to change my debit card. But don't too happy 1st la.. Once I get it the card, will let u know~

Mine supposed to expire on december...But they let me change to MBB debit master platinum..

My card is expire on this coming December as well, alright will walk in and change it...

I was thinking that bank may send a notice to the card holder that the card has expire soon, request for change ??

I face the same problem with you when I went to Tmn Pelangi branch.
But I try Jln Tebrau branch is available, it is so weird! Maybe they lazy to update their system because no many people know this new debit card is launches

My friend is working at Johor Bahru Main branch and i tried to apply thru her. As she attempt to activate the card to my acc , she could not register it. Have to wait for the system to return to normal!

I swapped my card at Aeon bukit indah yesterday, it is very fast and no need sign

if debit card after expired date, ATM still can withdraw money?

Yeaahhh!! My one debit card has been changed.. No charge for replacement at all.. From Maybank Debit Visa Card (Normal one) change to Maybank Platinum Visa PayWave Debit Card..

Really look new and look like platinum credit card, but eventually is debit card~

Debit card nowadays also upgraded, got platinum
