so I guess it will be in the future.but I am using Public Bank Day2Day, can use for iTunes App purchase,also Paypal & also other online transactions

Added on January 1, 2012, 2:48 pmseems that some cashier in some shops/restaurants still press on their card terminal instead of credit card, E-Debit for debit card payment.and so have to keyin PIN number. there goes all the rebate & points

i think some cashiers are told by their supervisor or manager to process it that way.but once in a shop i told the cashier to process it as creditcard since she wasnt so sure

i used it for online transactions no problem.havent tried it for paypal though

i tried MAS,Air Asia & Royal Brunei all can.dont know about EVa but should be most major airlines accept it via their online booking

debit card is not subject to rm50 govt tax

i think can since i made a few online purchases using the card

can withdraw but have to register 1st at public bank atm.i think can swipe also

Paradise Dynasty card system cant accept debit card and the cashier dont even bother trying

just noticed that cimb debit mastercard annual charge have been increased to $15

funny enough to replace a lost cimb debit card is $12,annual fee $15.shouldnt both be the same?

just ranting around:what is so special about CIMB Debit card that they can charge $15 instead of $12 that other banks charge? other banks also have their merchant discount and privileges,the verified by visa/mastercard securecode thing,even cashback. cimb debit card dont have any cashback,only the measly rewards point system

anyway will still use cimb.let see if other banks will follow suit and up debit card fee to $15.or will cimb u-turn its decision and go back to $12
or mastercard international increase the fees charged to cimb? thats y annual fees increase

according to the big website its 1% of your purchase amount.did you buy USD$100.then its correct 1% of purchase amount=US$1

confirmed CIMB Debit Card is now $15.just deducted from my account for PMPC annual fee
