Hahaha.. Is it possible to change my current Debit card to this Maybank Visa Platinum Debit payWave?   My normal Maybank Visa Debit card still left 4 months gonna to be expired~ 

Haven't change yet. But next week will walk in MBB branch as the MBB staff say Maybank Visa Paywave will be arrive stock on next week. 

I asked MBB staff mention that I will eligible to change my debit card. But don't too happy 1st la..   Once I get it the card, will let u know~ 

Mine supposed to expire on december...But they let me change to MBB debit master platinum..

Successfully close my cimb acc and reopen for normal cimb acc with atm. No more debit card

Can we refuse to change to ambank debit card?

It depends on your account type. If it is a non-fee Basic Savings Account, then no annual fee will be charged. I am using the old AmBank debit MasterCard and it is linked to my AmBank Islamic non-fee BSA-i. AmBank has never charged me annual fee for the debit card.

thanks for your reply.  from my personal recent experience, ambank do not charge debut card fee.  but hong leong charge me rm8.

Yes this debit card still can use until next year. For what i heard from Maybank CS called me ytd regarding my recently applied for new pin & pay debit card, they said that my current debit card still can use and not necessary must change but you have to change before 01 July 2017. 

i applied my debit card via M2U card management and it was free and you have to wait for 2 weeks to receive the new debit card.

i suggest you guys walk in to branch to exchange the card on the spot so no need to wait them courier to you.

Ps: i applied on 20 July last month but until today still haven't receive it. The CS agent said i have to wait more than a month lol.

how to request new replacement from M2u?

when received the new Maybank debit card (the replacement card), can straight away use or have to call CS to activate?

Ytd I went to ambank intend to change my ATM to myclear debit card.. My saving acc is tagged as non fee account, mean no annual fee if my monthly withdrawal is less than 4/8 times, can't rmb the exact tnc..
So, b4 I change my debit card, I asked the cs, but he told me that once we change to debit card, 1st year AF is free, but 2nd year onwards will charge RM8.48 per year.. I said y? He said every bank the same.. Then I told him I'm not going to change..
Anyone have idea on this?

Already test this method using yournique alliace credit card.
topup rm 3000 and then withdraw (need to find atm which can withdraw rm100 notes)
so total rebate I get is rm 44 (after minus rm 6 withdraw fees)

Yes. you can reload even RM 1. RM6 consider as their withdraw fees

And quite easy to find rm100 teller. Example maybank(big branch) already at top of the machine 'this machine only withdraw RM 20 and RM 100 notes only'

SCG Cashback Gold seems feasible as it only excludes petrol and insurances.
