Just want to ask you some questions~ blink.gif

I have a CIMB Debit card, but every year need to charge the annual fees RM8 as I less to withdraw every time.

I want to change from Unlimited cash withdraw (annual fees RM8 per year) switch to Limited cash withdraw (limited ONLY can withdraw 6 times per month, if I'm not mistake nod.gif ), is it possible can do it?

This is because some people say you cannot do this, the only way is terminate this account number, and then create the new account that is limited cash withdraw.

Is this true? rclxub.gif

Yes, there is a different... Basic Saving account, u just need rm20 to open a saving account and the interest rate some kind are higher but it was statement based account... U need to maintain rm20 inside... While regular saving account, u will need certain amount of $$$ to open the saving account... Some bank will not imply that need maintain a min amount of $$ inside....
Other than MBB Visa Debit Card then maybe u can try PBB D2D or Visa Electron....

Thanks for your information~ notworthy.gif

Hi everyone, want to ask you all.

Is it possible switch from my CIMB saving account, Basic Saving Account 1 (with unlimited cash withdraw and Annual fee RM8 per year) to saving account without annual fee (Basic Saving Account 2). This is because I less cash withdraw 6 times per month. So there is no point I every year charge annual fee RM8 per year. cry.gif

If can, how should I do? icon_question.gif

My suggestion to open BSA2 at another CIMB branch... then close the old BSA1
*
Lol.. create new account? shakehead.gif There is no point as I open new account for BSA2 as most of my client will bank in directly to my that account num. A bit annoying need to go CIMB branches and beratur at counter there to open new account. And also need to inform client 1 by 1 to let them know my account num has been changed~ doh.gif

Anyway, thanks for your info la~ notworthy.gif

why don't you call up your acc holding branch and ask whether can convert
alternatively, call up their cs should do as well
*
I got contact to CIMB Customer service before. They say cannot convert. The only way is close the current saving account, open new saving account without annual fee RM8.

But I saw from LYN thread (NOT in here la~), the forumer say that they successful convert from unlimited cash withdraw (Annual Fee RM8) to basic saving account 2 (NO Annual Fee RM8). Don't know that forumer say can be trust or not~ sweat.gif I'm still retrieve back the forumer post the comment, but now cannot find it~ sad.gif

Hello..I bought something online using Maybank Debit Card. Pre-auth debit was charged.

However, the seller told me later that the item is out of stock and gave me a refund. This was on 19/20th August.

I'm just wondering how long does it take for Maybank to refund me my payment?

Also, I'm wondering if in the event that the seller did not tell Maybank to refund me  but at the same time also does not tell Maybank to settle my payment, Maybank will cancel the pre-auth hold on my funds right? How long does this normally take?

Thanks in advance.
*
Basically after 1 week, check bck ur balance account. (If i m not mistake). Sure Maybank will refund the pre-auth charge if the seller really refund u already..

I got my refund back after 2 and half weeks later. biggrin.gif

I did call Maybank before I got the refund, they say it'll take up to 16 working days maximum for the refund to go through. After 16 days and it still hasn't been refunded, you can lodge a report.
*
Thanks for your info~ However, take up to 16 working days a bit long neh~ yawn.gif

Btw, I also got my Maybank Debit Card. And my Maybank card gonna to expired around next year soon. If let say want to replace new Maybank debit card, is it possible can request change to Maybank Manchester Debit card. (Coz that card appearance seems like very nice~ drool.gif ) Currently my maybank debit card is normal one.. Tat is Visa one, most of people using tat kind of card.. (I think u know it guaa~~ hmm.gif )

So in simple word, Is it possible can request change from Maybank normal Debit Card (Visa one) to Maybank Manchester Debit card without any charges and without terminate my saving account? rolleyes.gif
