Got estimated stock time?
I just asked Subtel too, waiting for their replies.

Edit:
I had order from Subtel, estimated times - 3-5 weeks.
Order Price : RM999 included delivery fee.
*
I just asked, the indication is around 2 weeks if they can consolidate a minimum order qty of 10 units. *provided the shipment process is not delayed.

So should be similar timeframe to Subtel, already one weeks past,so 2-4 weeks later will delivered.
Because I saw from mikrotik forum, seems like RouterOS 7 will be public release on 23 August 2021 Europe time. (So should be on 24 Aug 2021 in Malaysia)

Hi all, I've been doing some speedtest on my Mikrotik Hex S. It seems that I can only go up to ~ 160 Mbps download speed on the router. At the router side, 1x CPU core is running at 100%. Also, when I tried using 2 different computers to run speedtest (speedtest.tm.com.my), it is still one stream.

It seems like:
1- network packets to/fomr a website only uses 1 core.
2- 1 core limit is ~ 160 Mbps.

Has anyone successfully pushed the Hex S to beyond 160 Mbps in a single core with speedtest?

Yes, I'm using Fasttrack. One suspicion is I have VLAN filtering turned on at the bridge. I'll disable it tonight and try again.

This explains why prices for RB4011iGS routers drops in the last couple of weeks. Better save saving money now.

I still hit a speedtest speed limit at 160-170 Mbps. I believe it's the Unifi VLAN translation (VLAN500 interface) in Miktrotik; one core hits 100% usage at 170 Mbps. I did a LAN-to-LAN speedtest (webfig, HAP ac3 to HEX S) and I got 450 Mbps one way. My assumption is the VLAN500 interface program is not multi-threaded.

Rather than doing more daisy chaining (HEX S -> Router/bridge -> modem), I may get an RB5009 instead tongue.gif . Unless someone has a great idea biggrin.gif .

Nice... finally the Marvell88E6393X switch chip supply both 10g/2.5g/1g ports altogether... unlike 4011 that has to go through CPU...

the CPU bound also increased from 2.5+2.5 -> single 10G lane... nice upgrade!

So far so good, 800mbps with below 10% CPU usage.
But currently cant connect to Unifi IPv6,still try to figure out the problem...

either Unifi not giving me the IPv6 address or ROS7 is having problem, no matter what i try it does not get prefix from unifi... bangwall.gif

Edit:
In the end,it is a mikrotik bugs on ROS7...

MikroTik RB5009UG+S+IN Gigabit Router with 2.5G Ethernet and 10G SFP+ ports RouterBOARD RB

Now available at Shopee.
The block diagram disappoint me though, therefore will not plan to buy it.

I had plan to replace my recent ER12 since it has 2.5G for my home server and 10G SFP for GPON ONU SFP Stick.

What's make you disappointed with new RB5009? the 10G SFP didn't have dedicated lane?

If the SFP+ cage or the 2.5G Ethernet port are directly connected to the CPU (the CPU supports them), then I would have bought it.

Therefore, my plan is to just upgrade RB4011iGS to routerOS 7 when it become final.

I see,
if doing home server should be enough, since switch chip run at 10Gb and GPON ONU SFP Stick run at 1Gb.

I been trying EdgeRouter 12 and RB3011UiAS, I prefer Mikrotik way to setting networking,

also, when set PPPoE MTU to 1500 bytes, IPv6 on ER12 quite broken,

currently my ER12 1500 bytes on IPv4 & 1492 bytes on IPv6,

for Mikrotik, 1500 bytes on both IPv4 and IPv6.
