Looks good bro.

See here for complete list of Mikrotik products available from a reliable seller:

http://www.lelong.com.my/merchant/default....w=List&P=1#List

I am not the seller, just sharing where I would get my Mikrotik product from.

Thank you for the link. Going to find another model of mikrotik.

Dun have wor. The only script I have for ddns is the namecheap one since that’s the only thing I use. Which script you using? From Mikrotik forum? I’m sure they’ll update it. afraid.org changed their update url format so lots of things stopped working. My old DNS-323 also cannot update already.

ya lor from their forum.. suddenly not working.. haihz..
nevermind brader, already fix using this ddns (afraid.org) mikrotik one.. seems working..

anyway, thanks ar for replying..

hi soonwai

my ipv6 suddenly stuck at searching.. happened 3-4 days back..
before this, the error sounds like "ipv6 pool exhausted! no ip address bla bla"

is it my ipv6 area down or something?

from ipv6 - addresses, the G ::/64 turn red and failed to bound rclxub.gif

forgot to tell.. im using RB951G-2HnD

Anyone tried with hAP AC?

Fasttrack on= > 500mbps
Fastrack off = < 120mbps

Is this expected?
*
yup.. im turbo-ed 300mbps

fasttrack on = 340/360 mbps
fasttrack off = 65/75 mbps

i've got many simple queue list and if i enable the fasttrack, they'll (kids/neighbours around 15+ devices) eat all my bandwidth yaw cry.gif

Ok, that about right I guess.

Yes, I understood the simple queues no longer working. For that workaround, I separated the subnet for the devices, and place in the "source" range  for fasttrack, so other devices will follow the queues. ( You may use dedicated IP if not many devices for yourself)
*
yeah bro..

At first, im stuck with 100mbps (fasttrack disable / simple queues enable)

After refering to this Mikrotik thread MikrotiK Fasttack + Simple Queues, fasttracking and simple queueing works like a charm!

Thanks to the thread and the guide. I followed the second post guide. The first one will not make ur simple queue works.

The lazy part is adding IPaddress range to firewall > filter rules bcoz i have 15+ diff interface+ipaddress/pool to put in..

What to do... need to put them all and just finished added since 12pm+ doing it hahahahaha..

Now just monitor the simple queues menu watching if i missed any address/pool range so that neighbour/kids didnt eat all my bandwidth

Seems all good for now..

thank you in advance

hAP AC2 & hEXGr3 are the 2 cheapest Mikrotik's that can support up to 800Mbps.

I suppose you want to upgrade your wifi to AC. If that's the case then hAP AC2 is the obiovus choice.

If you need router only, no wifi then hEXGr3 is slightly cheaper.

A few things to note. From my experience using hEXGr3.

hEXGr3:
1. Can support 800Mbps with Fasttrack, no problem. ie: basic config is OK but once you start using queues or other stuff, it'll slow down. Worst case (Fasttrack off) 300-400Mbps.
2. If you use VLANs, eg: internal VLANs or a HyppTV/Internet trunk. The most it can handle is 500-640Mbps. This is because bridge port hw_offload is disabled when vlan filtering is on. Maybe can be avoided using switch chip vlans.

hAP AC2:
Have not played around much with this but it looks good. It can handle 500Mbps with Fasttrack off. Have not tested with 800Mbps.
https://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...post&p=90581142

I'm planning on replacing the hEXGr3 with hAP AC2 in the next few days to see how well it handles the vlans and my HyppTV trunk.

As of now, I think go for the hAP AC2. The only things going for hEXGr3 are more RAM (256vs128) and SD card slot.

a question,

does 20% - 30% (sometimes reached 33% - 35%) normal for cpu load usage?

thanks!

after monitoring, its the wifi (android phones - 6) connected playing online games (roblox/minecraft/etc) sweat.gif

MikroTik’s IPv6 not fully ready yet, it doesn’t have fasttrack enabled yet, my hAP AC2 can run 839mbps with few percent CPU load, but run at much slower with IPv6 on and CPU load 100%

Also, Unifi’s IPv6 is still not stable as IPv4, my ping plotter test with Facebook’s IPv6 will have few pings dropped in only 50 pings test, not sure about other ISP.

I will leave it off until both of them solved the current problems.

u need to create DHCPv6 if u set it in router mode. If u go bridge mode it just plug and play.

Thanks for the reply.
Successfully got new port for Unifi fiber.
Ipv6 enable without issue.

of course ipv6 is enabled without issue. the problem is if u have many sub networks or vlan, the ipv6 wont advertise as slaac. you have to enable the dhcpv6 and separate the given ip to multiple subnets  nod.gif
*
U seems like knew what on my head hahaha

Ya for now, all ipv6 is fully on bridge networks.

If u dont mind, can u teach/share some knowledge/example to us on how to make ipv6 advertise to all subnet?

Thank you in advance notworthy.gif

Anyone here with a hAP AC2 that has 128MB of RAM?

Can you post the output of "/system resource irq print"? I'm wondering if your CPU is IPQ4018 or IPQ4019 or whether it's just cosmetic.
