You can try applying for a holiday working visa, I believe those are valid for a year or so.anyway ? just spm holder at the moment www.immi.gov.au If you are looking for something more permanent, you can perhaps try enrolling into some courses there. |

Sorry Aus immigration in recent years is very very strict - now only high qualified individuals can migrate to Aus, now even stricter - you can only migrate using EOI (Expression of Interest) anyway ? just spm holder at the moment Read abt it here: http://www.workpermit.com/news/2011-05-30/...n-july-2012.htm So without skills needed by Aus, you can't work there legally. And working holiday visa is no longer applicable to Malaysians. |

QUOTE(ghoss @ Jul 11 2012, 11:56 AM) Thanks man , will look into that Suprised the working holiday visa is still around... anyways, good luck if you wanna go for that - you need to compete with locals and other immigrants for jobs. But most importantly, you need to bring a lot of $$$ with you to get a rental place (rent is very mahal anywhere in Oz). So save up!http://www.immi.gov.au/visitors/working-ho...y/462/malaysia/ This one ? QUOTE(Def @ Jul 13 2012, 09:56 AM) in a way they have made it so more people can apply but very very selective due to the new SkillSelect thingy. Points have been lowered from 65 to 60 though.I got my work and holiday visa! Mad queue had people there since 830pm the night before lol! anyways, there is such thing is an Overseas Graduate Visa for your case Riddhy. |

QUOTE(WheelieWonka @ Jul 4 2012, 07:24 PM) I'm planning to migrate in Feb 2013 to Perth and I've already my PR for few years now. I find the AUD130k per annum (with 5-6 years IT exp) quite unrealistic, and you should verify that with your hiring company. Just got my PR. Lucky for me. Added on July 5, 2012, 10:54 am Sorry guys but from July 1st 2012, skilled migration is closed. Now you can only apply thru EOI (Expression of Interest) where you have to pass the ELTS test, get your degree and work verified by ACS (Australian Computer Society) and your info will be in a database. This allows future employers to handpick the best to apply for PR (you will be invited). Otherwise, you have to just keep waiting. |

If you have employer sponsored (work permit) that would be best. But depends whether companies like you or not...There is also a graduate visa that is valid for 18 months after graduation... Read somewhere in star, they going to revise it to 24 months next year.Added on July 17, 2012, 2:44 am If you have employer sponsored (work permit) that would be best. i am thinking of applying my PR
then i saw got 1 working visa in which the employer sponsor, is that hard to get? coz i read if you already work there for 2 years, when you apply PR you have more points and can skip the EOI since you are already working its call direct access or something |

TFN, you can do it online..(ato.gov.au)
Bank account, you can do it from MY, then transfer ur money over b4 u arrive.. Medicare ?? not sure u will be entitle to it since you are not a PR. (i might be wrong) But my advise is to do everything when you are in Australia, since you wont be working immediately once you landed...
