QUOTE(cbinn @ Dec 18 2011, 08:07 AM) It is Wiper Rubber Refill, and I think they are referring to changing the rubber part of the windscreen wiper blade. ic. that's good for those models applicable, at least 30% discount now. but i had driven NHC previously for 1 yrs 4 mths still no need to change that. think can last quite long. |

QUOTE(Fazri9900 @ Dec 18 2011, 10:43 AM) Welcome bro. I am new as well but these veterans here got so much valuable info that you need to read the post from day 1. Should thank them for the great effort. You will learn a lot. Have fun reading Btw, I test drove the lexus cth before buying the insight. For a marquee name, it was a lot of money to spend on such a compqct car so test drove the insight which is half the price of cth but comparable in size. found that minus off the leather n expensive stuff, the insight is much better value for money and a better ride, to me. And the sc is like 5 minutes away from the house. Sometimes still wishing to be driving a lex for the looks but common sense say brains is better than just good looks. So, enjoy your ride and if have money, get yoursel a mugen kit and you will soon forget about anything else. This car can be cool too. Welcome |

Conclusion... the torque is AWESOME!!! I've noticed when i floor down the pedal, I don't feel the much difference in terms of acceleration besides the noisy engine sound so, usually I will just step half on the pedal |

hi all Insight owners.
Mind to share how much percent fuel saving that you earned prior changing to insight? i was wondering as for now it is worth for me to spent more budget on buying Insight or just go for normal compact car which have low fuel consumption like Vios/City/Forte. My silly doubt cross my mind were; - battery cost when its flat said ~RM7K, will i save my fuel more than this value prior battery exchange? - additional ~+-RM10K compare to Vios/City/Forte (will i gained back my pocket money from this hybrid car as stated it have lower FC?) Pls enlighten my silly doubt, thx |

Pls enlighten my silly doubt, thx 1: a typical vios/city will get you 14km/l average fuel consumption an Insight will get you 19-25km/l (19 Econ off / 22-25km/l ECON on) 2. Battery do not cost RM7K it cost RM5K at the moment all Insight have 5 years Warranty on Battery but the replacement have only 6 months (consumer need to fight the replacement battery 6 month warranty lifespan) but google around and you will notice Insight battery is actually NIMH D-Cell type battery in serial layout. in US the previous generation of insight have their battery replace by 3rd party and it only cost RM1500 to RM2000 provided the 3 IMA circuit board is in good condition (so just replacement of wear/faulty batteries is RM1,500 t0 RM2,000) they even replace with a better stronger maH battery which provide longer distance per charge 3. With insight you get 100% rebate on Import TAX and Duties and this is the actual cost what the manufacturer build that worth... with other car (non hybrid) you pay RM50K in TAX so what you get is RM50K cheaper car build value... 4. you pay 10K and you get Traction Control (a active safety that really really can save your life.... well if your life is worth extra 10K) and you also get Automatic headlight / automatic wipers, 2 tear dashboard meter that only found in civic, 3D display upper tiered panel display..... for me the VSA/Traction control is worth extra 10K Added on December 19, 2011, 4:16 pm QUOTE(loonsave @ Dec 19 2011, 03:21 PM) check user manual they have the complete guideThis post has been edited by calvin_ng: Dec 19 2011, 04:16 PM |
