http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1522650 Attach photo is my insight modulo installation. LED is add on.... Price RM$1,900...with LED The LED only come ON when open door and follow the light timing inside the car.... They open the bottom compartment (driver seat) and open up a wire to attach the LED wire together. That's how it follow the light timing inside the car. Second photo is the LED Sensor light for the trunk. Very useful. Light on base on movement even when you open the boot. Didn't know ACE is selling it (RM$59). Bought another one earlier which is manual on light LED call DOT IT. This post has been edited by jtlim98: Oct 25 2011, 10:00 PM Attached thumbnail(s) |

Took my car up to Genting highlands today. Total of 2 passengers and a driver. The car was very responsive going up. With the vehicle stability assist, going around the sharp bends was a breeze. No car managed to overtake me going up. In fact, the performance was better than I expected. Fuel consumption going up was 12.2 KM/L.
As for going down Genting Highlands, the experience was just amazing. Battery was fully charged most of the time and engine noise was minimum. Fuel consumption coming down was 34KM/L How's that for my Genting experience! |

QUOTE(mrsafwan @ Oct 25 2011, 10:33 AM) can anyone point me to any posts that discussed about the solution for a wet floor on passenger's side. i wanna know before i blindly send the car to SC. I found a similar leak in my Insight to be from an unplugged opening under the left wheel arch passing into the passenger compartment for the wiring from the Honda Malaysia factory fitted Cobra immobizer. A rubber plug is provided with the original wiring but the installer did not set it in place allowing water run-off from the windscreen to flow down and through the unplugged opening into the passenger compartment. This has been confirmed by pouring water on the windscreen and observing the flow of water down the wheel arch. The opening can be seen under the left front wheel arch (towards the rear) after removing the wheel arch stone guard. The leak stopped after the rubber plug was reset in place. Hope this solves your water leak also.brand new car already need to dismantle everything ke? dont want my car to be experimented by SC to know where the leaks might come from. |

Insighter Bros,
Has anyone encounter this? Yesterday, while driving, suddenly the alarm triggered with the hazard light triggered for no reason. I stopped aside and turn off the engine and restart and the alarm continuously buzzing for about 10sec and then went off. Then I opened and closed all the doors and then start the engine again and the alarm went off. So far til this morning, everything seems normal but the incident yesterday worried me. anyone faced this b4? |

QUOTE(mrsafwan @ Oct 27 2011, 10:46 AM) thanks bro, this really helps. can DIY? Can be DIY. Just need to remove the press studs retaining the stone guard under the wheel arch and press the Cobra wiring rubber plug back in place. Will try to post some pics when I have time to dismantle mine for some pics. Remove any additional carpet mats as original carpet needs to be lifted up to dry properly due to the thick sound proofing padding on the under side which will probably be soaked. Good luck !Added on October 27, 2011, 10:55 amhow much is MUGEN rear spoiler? (if its ever being sold by someone in the forum or in malaysia) |

Did you confirm whether your SC re-plugged the correct opening? Other sources for leaks on the left side would be the entry points through the engine compartment firewall into the passenger compartment for airconditioning piping and wiring harnesses (including the orange coloured IMA cabling). Water leaks through these are less likely as they are shielded from direct water entry by the windscreen wiper/air intake compartment below the windscreen (unless you have driven like a rally driver through flooded areas However, it may be useful to check if additional wiring was passed through these other points by installers of other aftermarket electrical/electronic equipment (e.g. Cobra Connex GPS aerial wiring etc.) which were not properly re-sealed If your SC had plugged the correct opening and there are no other leaks then your carpet is probably still damp as the thick insulation material below the original carpet is soaked and will take some time to dry. Try removing the plastic panels at the door sill and foot well and lift the carpet up to air and dry properly to remove the damp smell. I am waiting for mine to dry to confirm if it still smells damp. Otherwise will claim new carpet from Honda Malaysia !! |
