until today after 4months cruising this Insight, my colleagues and friends still not convince on the FC.
they simply ignore my statement on the FC with 18-19km/L.

they will said "yeah, the money u save, will be used for the ima battery replacement in 2-3yrs. so it is LPPL" ... haha

400km for full tank?
that's very bad FC. i pressume he drove with hard acceleration with S gear and with Econ Mode OFF at all time.
Or probably he drove to places with uphill very frequently or top speed on the highway.

I've tested once whereby I drove and revv like mad dog, I still can get 550km for full tank.

try to play with the auto cruise at 90km/h or even 110km/h on the hi-way.
to achieve ur expectation shouldnt be any problem.

the problem of this car is ... it takes me too long to go to petrol station to re-fuel. hate it!!!
used to go to petrol station twice a week... now i think once in 2 weeks.

understand most of the user will service after 5k km.

i did a quick survey and mostly commented that semi oil are adviseable to service every 5k km, but that is more applicable for car which frequently use for long distance drive and for car already clocked 100k km and above.
For new engine like us, it is ok to sustain up to 8k km, even Honda said it is ok and will not void any warranty (if anything happen to the engine).

Guess i will stick to 8k km, as already run 6k km now. going for 15k km service this Friday.

going to be my 4th service
travel quite extensively. this ride might not be the perfect ride for me in view of my travel frequency on the road and since my fuel expenses is covered by the company.

by the way, any idea why the 40k km service cost RM1,019.00?

going to pick up my ride for 15k km service... maybe will ask the SA.
start feeling the pinch oredi, coz no more FOC haha.
next 20k km service will be RM459.65.

total damage for 4th service is RM251.17
breakdown as below:

1.Labour - RM58.50
2.Engine oil - RM117.41
3.Washer Drain - RM2.10
4.Oil Filter - RM30.68
5.Alignment - RM30
6.Balancing - RM35

Item 2,3,4 entitle 15% discount ... d@mn, didnt know it was 25% discount promo end 31-Aug.

Question is:
1. is it neccessarily to do alignment and balancing every 15k km? As advise by SA, it is neccessarily eventhou we did not hit any pothole or etc.

2. is true that IMA battery still price at RM10k and above? SA said the price still at this range and the market mentioned RM6k for the battery wasnt true. Now I am thinking twice whether it is worth to drive Insight if the IMA batt cost RM10k and above

3. 20k km service will cost approx RM500 because of the air-cond filter change. Is it neccessarily to change air-cond filter every 20k km?

Any bros can advise?

If not, it is expensive. I found RM2xxx for all...include front, side, rear skirting, with mugen grill and spoiler.

how bad was the sound?
mine was there for a while, but since my outstation trip, the sound dissapeared.
the sound was near the aircond console knob area.

i achieved full bar til end 3rd stage since 9k km but til now, 15915km, still have not achieve the Trophy.
most probably I drive not as ECO as before when I got this ride.

before 9k km, I used to get 700km for full tank but since then I have been driving 'quite' aggresive and averagely achieve 600-620km for full tank of ron95 Shell. bout 30-31L for full tank.

anyone got trophy d? if not mistaken, there was 1 bro here achieved d.
is it true that after achieving the trophy, somehow the FC wil be even better?

yes yes, noticed that during my trip cameron, but the ride is smoother when the battery is fully charged and the tendency on running 100% on battery alone is higher and longer period.

Added on September 13, 2011, 10:19 amguys, yesterday morning in Glenmarie, I saw a silver insight with the Grill as shown below, but the bumper is not the facelift design.

i wonder whether we can buy this grill in HC? i am very sure the silver insight is with this new grill.
