for the 1st problem, the games i downloaded are definitely all from android market. not to say all games also gg, the most noted ones are NinJump - chance of happening about 50%
Fruit Slice - about 30% chance of happening
Alien invasion - happened once or twice
iRunner - finished the game, so far only happened once
and recently i downloaded this RPG game called Inotia 3. played for not even 3 mins then hanged already...then re-play it, play for like 10 mins then hanged again

my fren suggested me to uninstall and then download and install again..but i doubt that will work
any ideas...?

the 2nd problem, dun think its the 3g signal is weak at the particular time, because once i off and on back the phone, straight away can online with data network
i nvr knew there's ppl reporting this problem already...that means so far no solution for this yet ?

Phone losing 3G is signal? Firmware problem i guess. Update it to latest firmware.

I remember my XE7 losing WIFI signal non stop. need to go into airplane mode and exit it. Lol. Firmware problem. Using custom rom now. Happy as ever.

2nd prob: this happens to my digi line alot, so far no idea whats the prob yet coz i'm never in kl city for the past 2 months
1st prob: i will play inotia 3 tomorrow and see got jam/hang or not, most probably wont, most probably your phone got prob, there was one guy last time also alot games hang blabla, if you flash b4/root then u go flash flash new roms, if not, maybe send to samsung say always hang/jam ask them flash new stock rom

i tried to keep everything as constant as possible, same location same angle, within the same hour, same network, HSDPA same testing while data running, excluded the extreme values and made average.
Flashed every single modem that i have in my arsenal including the kh series modem i just downloaded.
this is by no means accurate, i wish there is an app that can constantly record signal data every 5 mins like battery monitor widget.

as the signal strength fluctuates, the max and min represents the average signal strength, excluding the extreme values.

Last night install this Battery 2x. Free from market. This app will off the data connection when in standby mode, but with time interval to on it back. this giving us a better battery life.

I have the exact same problem on my SGS2. I've used both my Digi SmartPlan SIM card and also my Maxis 3G SIM card and both tend to disconnect from the data network quite frequently when it's used on this phone.

The Maxis 3G sim card seemed more stable with less disconnections but I think that's only because my area has very fast Maxis 3G download speeds. I believe the problem lies with the phone itself. Hopefully, there will be firmware updates available to tackle this problem...but knowing Samsung and their Touchwiz interface, we may have to wait another month or so for Samsung's official Android 2.3.4.

it happens to my frens too.
sometimes it auto restart and sometimes it auto shutdown....

speaking of shutdown... i think my sgs2 on stock/ ori Sammy rom has also shutdown by itself before a few times. maybe like once every two weeks.

at first, i thought i had accidentally powered down my phone but the more i think about it, the more unlikely that i had accidentally shut down the phone... coz when we power down the phone, the phone will actually need us to tap yes to confirm or sth...

still, there's a possibility... can't really be sure.

all i know is... on a few occasions, when i pull out the phone from my pocket... its OFF.
