QUOTE(waveweaver @ Aug 20 2011, 09:51 AM) Thanks Uncle Benny. I reposted this little article again in this V12 thread for our members benefit and relieved their concern regarding 'my phone screen seems a bit blueish' phenomenon.!! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Lifespan : » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « juz my opinion, i think it would be better if u jz post the link here and highlight the important points out. i dun think those genius will bother reading the whole thing before drawing their brilliant conclusions This post has been edited by Fallenangelz: Aug 20 2011, 09:53 AM |

QUOTE(benny888 @ Aug 20 2011, 09:54 AM) Yes ; it will be. But sad to say, many new users seldom refer by just looking at the questions posed. Just look at past 2 pages in last thread, many of the questions are answered in FAQ 1 and 2 hopefully. or we'll need to have a standalone flashing guide thread for them I have also put in another new post Part 2 on rom flashing ; will reorganized this. The original post does not allow me to post any newer entries and I much material to post. Hope with Part 2 updated, we will see less questions on rooting, kernels, rom flashing anyway thanks uncle benny for your hard work |

QUOTE(xsaintzx @ Aug 20 2011, 06:38 PM) I think Samsung is really bad in quality control, I wonder how many units of Galaxy S II they already received in return or exchange. wat to do? i think they rushed SAMOLED+ out in order to kill sensation. and they achive it with flying colors despite the complaints regarding the screen. well if u look at sensation, their screen will lost the sensitivity and cannot detect ur finger after a period of using. which one u wan? |

got a heart attack today morning. ytd charged full, on wifi to try how much it could drain then go sleep. around 12am. then today morning 7.30am wake up found my phone is like totally dead, no reaction at all. remove battery and put in again, no luck. then plug in charger, saw the battery with a yellow exclamation mark, so i guess its battery too low already(or mayb other? sm1 please enlighten me @@). charged for 5 minutes, try to on then it turn into totally black again
gonna try to charge for 1 hour and c can function back or not. surely will flash back to batista 3.6 after this |

QUOTE(kazama82 @ Aug 21 2011, 09:04 AM) u r using 3.7 now?...wow...im still sticking with 3.5 and using stock battery really make my phone last longer compare to andida battery..14 hours at 46% now...thought want to let it drain til 20% and switch back to andida battery...since yesterday, just receive my battery charger .. looks nice. where u get it and how much is it?» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « QUOTE(waveweaver @ Aug 21 2011, 09:11 AM) So your wifi really drain your batt till its totally dried uhh.? hmm, probably wifi. my friencaster pro sync 15 min once, but shudnt drain so much. cant trace anything since the phone is in coma state and the culprit is hidden That's weird coz i thought wifi not using as much juice as in your case. It should be quite the same as per letting your data signal on for the whole day. Found the real cause already? |

QUOTE(waveweaver @ Aug 21 2011, 09:28 AM) Yes it shoud behave as per you stated. That's why i ask fallenangelz if he found the real culprit coz i dont think wifi will drain batt juice that much for 7-8 hours. Unless he do some real surfing. Even then it must be non-stop surfing as i had test before, our original batt can tahan around 5-6 hours for non-stop surfing :-) yeah i knew dat, since last time my experience on villain rom with wifi overnite giv me a 60++% drop, due to my screamyx keep on down and ok whole nite. but this one seems like a different story i had downloaded 3.7.1, only realizing it has bt problem before flashing |

QUOTE(waveweaver @ Aug 21 2011, 09:50 AM) Yes it's normal as our SGSII is thin and slim so we can feel the heat permeate through the casing. How high is your temperature? If below 50C then it's only considered warm not hot. I once run mine at 58C non-stop for one full hour.!! I think SGSII can sustain continuous state of 50C without problem. hmm, probably u shud reply: it cant even fry ur egg, how come it can fry ur phone? Playing games will surely rise your phone temperature. Anything below 50C is normal. Nothing to worry about :-) |
