I have the exact same problem on my SGS2. I've used both my Digi SmartPlan SIM card and also my Maxis 3G SIM card and both tend to disconnect from the data network quite frequently when it's used on this phone.i nvr knew there's ppl reporting this problem already...that means so far no solution for this yet ?
The Maxis 3G sim card seemed more stable with less disconnections but I think that's only because my area has very fast Maxis 3G download speeds. I believe the problem lies with the phone itself. Hopefully, there will be firmware updates available to tackle this problem...but knowing Samsung and their Touchwiz interface, we may have to wait another month or so for Samsung's official Android 2.3.4.
