Not phone problem... Go fark Digi...

Im using Digi too and I have to say their service is getting suck after a year. Im gonna change to Maxis next year. If 3G is not working, switch to EDGE lor. Cant do anything about it. Dont believe then buy a Maxis prepaid card and load 500MB and try again. Im so fed up with Digi nowadays that I resort to carrying a second phone with Maxis line.

Erm, all I can say is Digi sucks for indoors.

In my house alone (how big can it get right?), I can get signal varying from 3bars of H to 0bar on even EDGE. My wife N8 cant even get through in certain places of my house plus my ex-HTC Legend also same. Im getting slightly better signal on the plastique S2. Sometimes the H does not response at all regardless of the bars. Sometimes getting full 1Mbps with just 1bar on H.

I tried so many phones (Nokia N8, C7, E6) with Digi Smartplan. Only certain places really offer good signal and speed like Kampung Baru Sungai Buloh, certain crowded places in Kepong like Aman Puri, Jinjang Utara, etc. Even in these area, once I get indoors, the signal drop like hell. There was a restaurant in Jinjang Utara where I get only 6x kbps but once I get out of the building, full speed. Thats the only thing I really hate about Digi. Maxis signal can penetrate walls but not Digi. No signal at all in Tesco Kepong LG floor but Maxis full bar on 3G. Went up to G floor and Digi can get 3bar on H. Just one floor difference.

Reset your phone and try again see how lor. If not flash to other official firmware see it helps or not.

I think you also experience this quite a lot. When the phone show got signal, but you cant make outgoing calls. It got cut off for few minutes then try again, its ok.

Anyone has this problem with their S2 where the phone touchscreen become non responsive when receiving an incoming call and the green receive bar was missing and red disconnect bar is like shaking without any user interaction?

I don't think it's hardware malfunction cos after that, the next incoming call is okay.

I knew more than 10 owners and 1 person who bought 7 units for his whole family. All are happy with it except for wanting chinese menu so badly.
Helped him flashed 4 units and earn some money for 3 persons bah kut teh.

Got problem meh? Even Apple has quality issues. If you can achieve 0% defects, many companies will want to hear from you and reward you handsomely.

Its more like Android dont support Adhoc if I remembered correctly.

You can only create adhoc wifi tethering if you root and use Barnacle wifi tethering. Im pretty sure you cant connect to one though (was the case with HTC Legend but that might changed since its pretty old device by now).

Tried disable fast dormancy?

For me, it's okay cause even with 0 bars, HSDPA can still run sometimes. Much better than previous Legend.

Wanted to try but download speed is awful.

Just downloaded yesterday and flashed it this morning.
Kinda regreting it now cos it wipe clean my phone. I thought it would only wipe if I checked repartition?

When I launched Market, it automatically download those apps there were there previously. Consolation I guess.

Update :
*&^*&^&$^&*&... Market quit itself, update to the new version and now all the downloads stopped... have to click one by one myself... crazy

The new Market is rubbish... for now at least...

Uninstall it and update everything that you want to update. Dont ever quit to homescreen cos that will close Market and updating it to the latest version. Wait for the downloads to finish and close it to update to the newest version.

Clearing cache works only for 1-2 apps and then stucked at loading screen YET AGAIN...

Google is ever so perfect...

Awesome... but for USD100, hard choice...

How did you stop it from auto updating itself?
Everytime I uninstall the new Market, once I run the old Market, and when I quit, it automatically update itself to the newer version.
