Same here. I been using DiGi for sometime and really good. Price is good especially. Maxis...you know la. Celcom is best when you have corporate plan at least for me.

How long you test it? It would take about 2-3 full cycle to get the exact battery life. Remember to battery stat wipe then check after 2-3 cycles.

You can't check like just one day.

You can try widget locker or something like that. It is a paid app by the way.

Yeah normally give it a few days to get used to the new rom.

Anyone using CM7? Damn ver 27 giving me crazy FC on my market for some weird reasons. Damn! >.< Sorry got to say out my rant

I believe you have choices:

1. Samsung Dive
2. Plan B app (check Android Market via website). GOogle search and there is a way to install it.

However, I am afraid if the phone is off, then it is tough.

Guys need help. My Market keep FC for some reason. Cleared data, cache but still FC. Hmm what should I do?

CM7 ver 28. Weird. Didn't install anything also. Clear data everything still FC.

Using it.

This is my take: CM7 = MIUI > Sensation

Honestly it is great. Loving it. Yes it is nightly and cm7 is auto released every day. However it is good and pretty amazing.

Go ahead. You will not be disappointed.

Bugs? Not many. Normally same with the rest of the custom roms. If you see it, CM7 and MIUI is not the same with any other custom roms. They are build for less samsung-ness.

I don't know why many people having issue with both but happened to me so seldom.

Actually they are compatible with sg2. For me, they work well as I really spend some time removing all the samsung-ware. Quite happy with CM7 and MIUI. When I am bored, get back to Sensation rom.

1. Make sure you have your phone rooted. Normal and easy way is via CF root (Check xda forum for CF series).
2. Backup!
3. Place the VR files into your sd on your phone.
4. Off phone
5. Volume up, home button and power all at same time - this will go into CWM recovery mode
6. If you have back up, choose back up.
7. Once done, select - clear data, clear cache and go to advance, select clear dalvik
8. Now, select Install update from Zip or something like that.
9. Scroll to the VR zip and select it.
10. Wait for boot up. Will take awhile.
11. If it stuck at loading / bootloop, off phone, and wipe and reflash back via CWM.

There you go.

Good battery life:
Ninpo and SpeedMod. SpeedFrey, haven try yet.

Try this. Off phone, go into cwm recovery
Center by volume up, home button and power at same time, select wipe device. This will wipe the data but could wipe the password. Never try yet but... Could work.

Guys, I need to ask you a question.

My Market always FC saying market vending bla bla bla stopped working. I cleared my data, dalvik and even go into manage apps, clear data and cache.

But still it gets FC. Is there any way to solve this issue? Blur jor dunno what else I can do.

Reflash jor still same. CM7 version 29. Weird thing is, seems like I am the only one experiencing it. I try everythnig Ic an think off but still not working

Gonna quote myself. Solved.

After a bit of searching (few hours..lol), change the language setting to English and it works. Appearently, it was send to HD (English). Weird. Set to English (US) and works well

Since it is Asian, I am assuming it will be sorted for both Malaysia, Singapore and kawasan-kawasan yang sewaktu dengannya...

Just ask them to perform a phone check or test. They will do for you the lcd screen test.

Haha. Depends on where you buy. I bought from SEP 1 Utama and I asked them to try for me. So they open the box in front of me to try lo. Also ask them that you want a 1 - 1 exchange within a week or at least a few days in case of anything happen. Hehe

Same. I tested a few and Lite'ning was my first. After try a few, never went back. Maybe When I am bored.

Normal roms I would say VR and sensation hands down. If really custom roms, I will go for CM7 and MIUI for sure.
