MBB, Al-Rajhi, RHB Easy & Hong Leong.
They say reason is i didn't have any credit history.

Details:

Working: Private.
Salary: RM 8000.
Car Loan: RM 650. Bought February 2012.
Credit Card: 1. Never late payment. Start using March 2012.

usually the most minimum they need to track your credit history is 6 months..

I am currently looking for PL packages.. amount between 10k ~ 20k.
Heard that there will be charges / fees associated with PLs. May I know wat are the usual charges / fees associated with PLs?

So far, fees / charges I heard of are:
>> Insurance / takaful (is it complusary?)
>> stamp duty (how to estimated the stamp duty payable?)
>> processing fees (can it be waived?)

1) Other than the above, are there other fees needed to pay?
2) What are the things I need to take note when choosing the loan packages?
3) Any packages can recommend? I am looking for packages with lower overall costs (interest + fees)...

Insurance / takaful = depents on what package take, islamic or non islamic.
Stamp duty = normally about 0.5x%
Processing fees = some bank not charging , some bank charging.

anyone ever make a loan from mbsb before? i hear they can give more tenure and higher loan amount as well

Try PM locomotive. My application had been rejected by couple of banks, but this guy help me until one of the bank approved my application. He knows the way to get your loan approved. Dealing with him also quite convenience for me. Based on your salary, you shouldn't have any problem to get your loan approve. You can ask the guy.

I am trying to get a PL around 30-40K for 4-5 years.. to consolidate my debts. I am earning gross around 5800 and nett around 4.8k, with commitment of current debt around 2600 + 850 car loan.

I've tried to apply for HLB & OCBC but got rejected because of high commitment.. eventhou i applied with balance transfer from my CC. Any anyone can intro any financing method or banks with higher approval rate?

I'm new here. I'm really wondering what are the requirements needed to apply PL? Do you need a guarantor btw - a must?
