If you buy body with kit lens, then you can straight away shoot once you bought it.

If you buy body only, then you will need to purchase the lens separately (any lens as long as it fits Nikon's mount) to start shooting.

Buying lens is pretty subjective, it depends on what you want actually tongue.gif
