5k is not elite. 30K plus a month with allowances and benefits, now thats elite.

More. And in my company/dept, I'm the ultra most junior and lowest paid BA. The more senior ones have easily 2x to 3x my salary (estimation from how much they charge per man day compared to me )

eh, nothing special about being a BA what. any job path also got opportunity for growth (and therefore higher title and salary), whether it is by promotion in company or by job hopping mah. if i 1 year experience and already $10k then of course can bangga a bit, but i'm not - if i benchmark against my peers i'm just on 'average' career growth only.

They might...as the pay is just a guideline.
You have bonus/OT/allowance to push your monthly pass the line too.

had my EP renewal approved (3rd renewal), in less than 48hrs response time by MOM via EPOL;
further, new EP app by my Co HR was responded in less than 5 days with IPA issued;
