Took the plunge and got the Galaxy S II from Samsung in Ipoh. RM2099 RRP... which is about S$850 (@2.45) compared to S$998 from Samsung outlets and S$890 from online websites like Whymobile and Mobilesquare etc.

but generally, you have to compromise for the warranty if you buy in MY right? unless you go to JB should you need the warranty later.

The Samsung service center in Ipoh is a quick 5 minute drive from my house in Ipoh. Bringing my phone to the service center is therefore a much simpler affair than SG. In any case, warranty is only 1 year... 99% of phones won't fail within a year.

Just give away to my family lor. Gave my old Sony Ericsson K800i to my cousin this morning, and will give away either a Nokia E63 or E72 to my brother when I've fully migrated all my stuff to the S2. Then he'll give his HTC Touch which is also one of my old phones to his kids.

utility bills, of course it gonna be high with aircon.

They usually hike the price if one wants air con. So be prepared to pay higher.

Didn't go back to kl yesterday night....end up joining the BERSIH 2.0 Singapore at Hong Lim square today. I was surprised to see quite a large turnout at the park today.

What a Shame. The red and yellow t-shirts fight from Thai election was pass on to KL. What's next? The daughter of the opposition leader become the first female MY PM and give the red shirt rally leader a hard kick between his legs?

Let's watch the drama for coming MY GE. Now we are nearer to rm3 to SGD 1, just 55 cent away.

Anyone did remittance with Raffles money changer before? My friend say they are quite good and do not charge any fee for RM10k above transfer. Furthermore they support online transfer.

Do share with us here if there's other better & cheaper "service" to transfer money to Msia...

so anyway I took a trip to parisilk bedok outlet, the guy there didn't want to suggest anything. He was like 'you go all those superstores and see what exactly you want, email me the model and I'll quote price.'

also ... hdb parking such a pain if you're not season parker. 10.30pm-7.30 one overnight coupon, in the daytime 1x coupon for every half hour, end up dashboard full of coupons =_=

btw silly question. those bamboo poles to hang clothes from hdb ... mana dapat? haven't seen any being sold anywhere also.

You can buy $1, $2, $3 or $4 per coupon booklet. $1 and the blue $2 are more common. I always keep 50 cent and $1 coupon in car.
