Guys, I tried to look around Yishun area most of them are about 650+ you guys got any recommended place i should look for. My company located at yishun ave 7. Thanks alot!

Btw anyone cycle to work in SG? or is that a good idea?

Having hard time finding a room for a male in Yishun =( the rental is quite high there. anyone stay near that area?

is there any custom tax if i am buying stuff from US and shipped to singapore for example: lens, pc hardware or smartphones?

Anyway, if i am holding Employment pass, and my friends ask me to assist him with his wedding photography buiness as a freelancer is that legal?

My company applied Work Permit for me, but i am expected to start working next week. What if I don't get my document approved by this Friday, can i enter Singapore using visitor and wait there till i get my permit and start working after that?

Woohoo, got my IPA letter already, going to hit singapore this weekend. Thanks too all those who helped me!

Anyway, is there anyway I can start working before I get my my employment pass since the medical examination takes about 3 days.
