Hmmm, now already 7 days after my order and I haven received such email so It can be 2 things going on with me right now:
1) my transaction is ok and the thing is progressing.
2) my order is too delay, they din even make the transaction yet...
hope it's 1) ...anyway my status now is "Production", is this status appears before your transaction is cleared?

Well, here also first time dealing with online purchasing. Please check at the hp online store for availability (currently still have).
If you need to claim the warranty, you have to send back to hp service center, or better still, call them up and ask where to send (before you make the order, then you can think whether is it comfortable for you to purchase online, if it is very far from where you stay, better get from retail shop, easier to service)

From Sarawak? You better call them to order by phone. Please confirm with them the delivery charges to Sarawak, as I've posted before that the website stated delivery charge is RM 138 while the PO they sent to stated that the delivery to East Malaysia incurred as fee of RM 300+.

got my dv6-6001tx (+4gb + 3 years warranty) for RM3374 from thundermatch lowyat 2 days ago..
I know I should have gone to mobility square and get me a DV6-6114tx but then I need to purchase a few other pc stuff.. so I just went straight to Thundermatch...

anyway here's my short pros & cons of this lappy:
Pros:
1) Powerful & fast
2) Freakingly beautiful - i especially like the light around the touch pad
3) No bloatware - if ade pun 1, 2 je

Cons:
1) keyboard flex - read somewhere someone said asus n53's keyboard flex is worse.. so I can't imagine how worst it could be. I mean this dv6 keyboard flex is already quite noticeable..
2) attract fingerprints everywhere
3) the damn small up and down arrow - what the heck.. it's already a challenge to play PES2011 using keyboard, and now this..?

Guys, does anyone know why we can only create ONE set of recovery media (Notice from the HP Recovery Assistant). Is there anyway to bypass that?

I mean I prefer to have two (one on a set of dvd and one on a thumbdrive) on hand just for safety precautions.

Hey guy, just got mine today! A bit underwhelmed, haven't played any games/music on it yet though. Screen is very poor compared to my old laptop (1600x900 res). The rest of the laptop looks really classy though.

So basically I have a few questions

1. What should I do when I first get it? What bloatware should I remove?
2. Has anyone else been able to use the 'middle click' function? It was quite essential for me in my last lappy when browsing, doesn't seem to work for me because the buttons are very hard to press in the middle.

have you see any HP allow customize option in M'sia so far ? Even they bring in US spect, for sure Hp M'sia will down grade it

Got it for 3200 from Lowyat, i7+ 8GB RAM + 1 year warranty. Got a bag, but it doesn't look very nice

On the middle click function, very sad, was a big big part of my surfing experience

Need to install some games to see how the graphics card holds up
