If i'm not mistaken.. 6114TX and 6108TX use Broadcom wifi adapter and 6001TX use Ralink RT5390.

None of that brand is in the compatibility list.

OK guys, I hereby confirmed that the CoolSense permanent fixed mode issue has been solved with the latest BIOS / HP Support Assistance where we do not need to select and apply the mode every time we boot up the laptop. It is a real good update for me, as I find the CoolSense is really good in cooling down the temperature from the Coolest Mode, so with this update, it eliminates me to open the CoolSense application and select and apply the mode every time I boot up my laptop.

but didnt receive the lappy yet. need to be very2 patient....

Im going to get this package n wondering have to buy the carepack or not,
if without the carepack, the laptop will have no warranty? as u all experience, is it worth to get the carepack?

I was looking at the latest dell xps, however the price is at rm3800 for a i5 processor whereas the hp 6114tx is at the same price + the headphones and has an i7 processor...but all this dynamic switching problems is kinda worrying me. More so when I'm a Maya and 3dstudio max user and both programs uses openGL. I realize that the graphics card is suitable for gaming and not for 3d applications, but Im treating this laptop as my work companion....do you guys think its still ok for me to purchase this hp laptop? even with the dynamic switching issue with openGL programs?

but after many consider i decide to keep it and pray everyday that hp will give me manual switching in near future. lol

Hei guys, I've ordered the HP Pavilion dv6-6114TX NB PC but I've forgotten to put the E-Coupon, and I've used Direct Deposit and I've not payed anything yet...

Should I call to HP and cancel my order or wait for the 14 days-Order cancellation?

based on the below T&C, if the order is a confirmation but has not been payed and delivered, I do have my right to cancel and avoid any payments to HP right?

10) The Order will be treated as cancelled if HP does not receive full payment for the Order by the 14th day after order confirmation.

11) However, should the Order herein be cancelled by Customer within 14 days from date of acknowledgement of such order by HP and prior to delivery of the Products, HP reserves the right to charge Customer a cancellation fee of fifteen percent (15%) of the value of the order

By the way this is the T&C for Direct Deposit

6. HP will process your order and ship your equipment immediately, pending availability, upon clearance of payment.
So if no payment clearance means no Order Processed means after 14-days-Order Cancellation will be implied and no charges will be imposed to the customer right?
