Customization wont happen in Malaysia, since Malaysia market is really small... but to be compete with Dell xps15z with FHD or others like Lenovo, Asus FHD model, HP need to consider to bringing FHD model into Malaysia too?...I tot in the past, HP did selling FHD model in older DV series? blush.gif

there used to be the cougar point sata problem in the older models. if the serial number is xxx108xxx or higher , there is no problem.

Got it to work, had to download some hotkey simulator; basically I press the left and right buttons at the same time and it simulates the middle click smile.gif Pleased!

Buttons are kinda hard to press though tongue.gif

Wanna ask you all something technical....
As you know laptop vent as times goes will accumulate dust inside and eventually will clog the air passage way....

What you all do to minimize the dust as not to void the warranty opening it and clean?

Because right now i think the U2 ventilation will help to reduce the dust and the backpanel of DV6 have some filtering material on the ventilation so i guess i'll need some times to check on the effectiveness of both stuffs i just pointed out. hmm.gif

customize do happen for Dell in M'sia but less option. For M'sia Hp to bring in full HD will definitely reduce their profit. the new dv6 GPU without 3D, they should bring in 3D or touch screen for Dv series, dust free keyboard, backlight, 12 cells batteries and make dual vents system ^.^

If not mistaken, Hp did selling one FHD model under HDX series, a unit popular during SXPS 16 1 generation but the price shakehead.gif shakehead.gif

just to service center to clean it up.

Just received my [DV6-6114TX] bundle yesterday, please add me to the list.

However, there's no warranty form or Care Pack for my extended 3yrs warranty. Is it supposed to come with the shipment?
