acid.. please put me in the owner's list biggrin.gif
got my dv6-6001tx (+4gb + 3 years warranty) for RM3374 from thundermatch lowyat 2 days ago..
I know I should have gone to mobility square and get me a DV6-6114tx but then I need to purchase a few other pc stuff.. so I just went straight to Thundermatch... biggrin.gif

anyway here's my short pros & cons of this lappy:
Pros:
1) Powerful & fast biggrin.gif
2) Freakingly beautiful - i especially like the light around the touch pad
3) No bloatware - if ade pun 1, 2 je

Cons:
1) keyboard flex - read somewhere someone said asus n53's keyboard flex is worse.. so I can't imagine how worst it could be. I mean this dv6 keyboard flex is already quite noticeable..
2) attract fingerprints everywhere
3) the damn small up and down arrow - what the heck.. it's already a challenge to play PES2011 using keyboard, and now this..?

Just back from HP Tower, managed to fixed the keyboard flexing issue. Overall took around 20 minutes to get the work done.

Comment: Satisfied.

why? is your dv6's keyboards flex badly? because i think my dv6 flex a bit but not to the extend that it will need fixing... ?

yea i am, i do this to my old laptop as well, after 3 years my old laptop battery still doing good.  biggrin.gif
i personally don't believe on these thing like plug off your battery to maximize the battery life span, it may sound logic but i just don't believe on that. smile.gif

tell that to my 3 years old dell inspiron 1420 biggrin.gif. barely after 2 years, it can run for 15 minutes without adapter. now only 3 minutes top. happens to my brother's,sister's and colleague's dell to... that's why I personally don't like dell laptop.. unless you're buying the xtra 3 years complete cover warranty which IMHO, cost too much

I found out my battery has a 0.45% wear level, I have decided to remove the battery from the laptop. I normally use my laptop with the charger, so is it absolutely fine for the laptop to run constantly at about 70C (battery NOT in laptop)?
i donno the answer to your prob, but my battery has a 3.18% wear level. kinda high compared to you.... sweat.gif
