Just received my [DV6-6114TX]  bundle yesterday, please add me to the list.



However, there's no warranty form or Care Pack for my extended 3yrs warranty. Is it supposed to come with the shipment?

Peep~~how the switchable graphic device work?
i call and talk to 2 difference HP technician, both said same thing, we are not allow to manually switch the graphic device,
technician just told me the system are dynamic switching -.- even though you are multi-tasking the system will be able to auto switch as well.
are you guys still can perform manual switching for the graphic devices?

i like the dv6 chrome outfit so much, very beautiful!
dv6 outfit are definitely one of the best among others. 

but HP customer care line suck big time if compare to DELL, 
the phone rout confusing + certain rout never have people to answer even you wait for 20+ minute;
DELL do so much better in this case.

6108TX use auto switching compare to manual switching on 6001TX. IIRC, efalex got post on how to force manual switching back in V1 thread.

You can install MSI Afterburner to check whether the Radeon is running or not.
LOL! first he will ask u to try copy big file to a pendrive while listening to music and at the same time he will talk about how dell refurbished warranty parts.

my 6114tx has an option to choose Green (low performance), Yellow (Auto), Red (High performance) for each program you use.  therefore i think there is option, even though i don't really bother since it runs smooth on those programs that i usually use

Errr...the force manual switching doesn't work. If you are lucky, you may find the "hidden" tab, but once you reboot, they will go back to auto switching. All 61XX series comes with auto switching. It's not that bad, only that you do not know which graphic card is active at the moment and OpenGL application may have problem running on the AMD card.

i have a dv6-6011tx, and its resolution is 1366x768. so it doesnt support full HD movies right?
im going to buy a 32" LED tv. and theres two models 720p and 1080p. if i buy a full hd 1080p tv would i be able to watch full hd movies through hdmi?
or is there no point in buying the full hd tv ?

don't worry.. you can watch 1080P movie if your external monitor support it.

I think you should bring your baby to HP Service Centre and ask them to reapply thermal paste for you. 96c is way too high for this lappy.

Question, how do you check if temp is above average and what should be the normal one?
