Every night around 9.30pm when I switch on btu and router, can't connect to internet. Always orange light. But after 10.30pm it connects and internet ok.
Is this congestion on their side? I been getting this since I got unifi...When are they gonna upgrade?

My location Serdang.

In a double storey house where the PC is upstairs and the TV is downstairs, are there lots of wires snaking all over the house?

Are all the equipment like the BTU, RG & STB connected to each other via wires?

YES. Except for internet access can use lan/wifi. If you put all upstair then you can use homeplug for TV then its quite manageable.

Hey, wanna ask you all here.

The old white BTU modem is better or the new black one is better? I've been using the white one, very good. But I relocate, they give me the black one. Not sure if it's as good as the white one.

I thought the STB needs to connect to the TV via HDMI?

To get full speed for downloads, my PC must connect to the RG right?

fiber->btu(modem)->dect phone & wireless router->decoder(stb)->tv

BTU VoIP port->DECT phone
BTU LAN 1 port->router
Router LAN 4->either lan cable/homeplug->STB->either HDMI/AV cables to TV
PC/Notebook connect thru lan cable/wireless to router

STB to TV = HDMI, but RG (router) to STB = Ethernet/LAN

As for wifi (internet access), it's depends on the signal. If you are on the same room or maybe next door no problem getting full speed. I copy file using wifi manage to get up to 6MBps. That's around 50Mbps..

I have a 300Mbps Wireless N ADSL2+ Modem Router.

Can the RG send wifi signals to my wireless N router which is then connected to my PC via ethernet cable?
