Where's your location? I suspect my router(DIR-615) hangs and gave it a restart but it can't connect and seems that DSL is dropped from vdsl modem too. I think around the same time as yours. LOL... It takes some time for it to reconnect shakehead.gif

So far I only had connection issue once for 4-5 hours. I was not in the country at that time. My younger brother reported to me.

Other wise touch wood, never had issues with both VIP5 and VIP20 at home.

3mins perhaps... Even the VoIP light gone red then i reboot and about 2mins~3mins then only the lights on DIR-615 all turn yellow-green. My downtime quite little too. Sien... If I'm not sharing with my housemate perhaps i alrdy throw the dir615 into dustbin or flash it to ddwrt to play T.T

No, I think its only for ASUS RT-N13U B1. My ASUS RT-N13U has been up with no disconnection for more than 9 days now. smile.gif

Thank you for the explanation. Guess I'm gonna ask for that ver. B1 only if i ever going to make a purchase. 9 days with no disconnection is quite impressive. I hope the installation and set up is not hard. I'm technically challenged.

QUOTE(ADJ @ Jun 27 2011, 11:24 AM)
Unifi has been down for me since Saturday midnight...woke up on Sunday to find my connection gone (has been going on well since installed end of May). The Link LED light on the Huawei BTU is not lighted up. Called Unifi on Sunday morning, and they arranged for a technician to come over on Tuesday afternoon...

My worry is that musang or rats may have ate or broke the cable somehow as they visit my roof ceiling from time to time sad.gif
*
really cry.gif now...

technician came over, and confirmed the internal fibre cable in the roof is out, but they won't go up the roof since its "out of their jobscope".
after calling Unifi centre, my options are:
1. have the technicians do it "freelance", and even then they will charge me RM300.
2. have TM appoint the contractor to have it done, no idea how much that would be yet...zzz

Traffic shaping is now in place
Used to get full speed from MU and FS all the time, now it's only during certain hours; normally 12AM and above.
