for those who upgrade from Streamyx to Unifi, did you receive an SMS from "UNIFI" asking you to provide your IC number, Streamyx Login ID and fixed line number to 03-22411529 for the termination of those accounts? Is that sms legit?

yea, i already went to TMpoint to get it done the next day since my Unifi was installed on a Sunday...hmm..fishy

Unifi has been down for me since Saturday midnight...woke up on Sunday to find my connection gone (has been going on well since installed end of May). The Link LED light on the Huawei BTU is not lighted up. Called Unifi on Sunday morning, and they arranged for a technician to come over on Tuesday afternoon...

My worry is that musang or rats may have ate or broke the cable somehow as they visit my roof ceiling from time to time

technician came over, and confirmed the internal fibre cable in the roof is out, but they won't go up the roof since its "out of their jobscope".
after calling Unifi centre, my options are:
1. have the technicians do it "freelance", and even then they will charge me RM300.
2. have TM appoint the contractor to have it done, no idea how much that would be yet...zzz
