whats the function OC/UV??
*
OC: Overclock. Make the cpu run at a faster frequency, thus faster cpu
UV: undervolt. Reduce the power consumption of the cpu. Leading to longer battery life.

I've updated to the stock 2.3.3...that's the problem.

If I root my device, will I be able to revert to the original ROM? Or will it be recognised by KIES?

Is this stock 2.3.4 for Galaxy S and is it stable? Can I have the link please? Battery draining is really killing me..
*
Stock firmwares are available download at ramad's thread in XDA or samfirmware.com

QUOTE(lightning69 @ Jun 10 2011, 08:36 AM)
Which rom can do adhoc connection?  I really need adhoc connection to my laptop.
*
You want to share files? I've been trying that too without success. A

Also have you tried this fix forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1043034&highlight=gpsit i've mentioned it many times.

Edit: try this guide www.emoiz.com/how-to-connect-samsung-galaxy-s-to-ad-hoc-wifi-network
I remembered that I did it once in froyo but forgotten that I need to replace the wpa supplication when i switched rom.

Hi guys, I'm considering to buy this phone. What do you guys think of it after using it? What's the pro and con? Does this phone get Gingerbread upgrade anytime soon or at least is it already officially confirmed that it will get Gingerbread? Some advice needed, thanks in advance!

*
have no idea, but careful though, dont put too much paper/tape, it will be harder to close your back cover and you could break it a lil bit, mine broke a lil bit at the power button side of the cover, maybe put too much tape and i push too much pressure on it.

neway, congratz cause it work

if you take just 10 minute or even 3 minute reading this page and the back page, you see the word 2.3.3 all over place. cause it already here and we already got it and we already using it, and we already got bored of it, and we already pimp it up to make it more interesting, and.... what else? anyone want to add?

hey guys, im on froyo and when i try to use samsung kies to update they said this phone version can't be updated, how to get official gingerbread update with kies? or over the air? thx
*
if your phone is AP or you ever flash a custom rom or other international rom, that mean you phone is not recognised as malaysia phone, maybe the firmware in your phone right now is SWEDEN or somewhere that didnt get gingerbread update yet,

so the way to go is to use odin, go to samfirmware.com > tools > android firmware >i9000 section > download 2.3.3 firmware of your choise.
then use the guide on the 1st page to flash odin. and walah, your done.

If you worried about that, just upgrade thru KIES. 2.3.3 could stand longer on battery. It will be no harm if we use 2.3.4 but we have to manually put the APN Setting.
*
use the universal product code changing method thumbup.gif you can get malaysia APN automaticly when insert a sim card, if you search my post i post the method few pages back,

Actually i need adhoc for internet sharing thru my laptop lan connection.

I did found a forum that have the wpasupplication file and try it just now. Now I can see my adhoc and when I try to connect, it could not get an ip address. Maybe I need to do some setting on my adhoc connection. Any ideas?

Even if the support is not from Samsung, the community support is very large; take this thread for example, we're already in v18. Chances are you'll be able to find help and support in lowyat forums or xdadeveloper forums.
