Cannot really trust this quadrant score thing. My Tab with 2.2.1 (Overcome 1.6.4 rom) sometimes scores higher than my SGS on 2.3.4 (CM7) , but no way is the Tab smoother or quicker than my SGS.

i understand, the fact is the "CPU" score is never that high before. Hence samsung definitely did some tweaking to get that kind of performance. the score may not sounds promising, but try the rom yourself to feel the difference.

the cpu score is high, but tap tap revenge animation is now laggy, unlike on previous firmwares. though other games i tried runs smooth. =(.

guys DO NOT flash to cm7 #23!!! after u flash u will need to revert back to froyo and reflash cm7. cwm is not working on #23!!!

find out one bug hitting Chainfire JVP kernel.. I had flashed Ramad deodexed gingerbread 2.3.4 rom.. was not able to connect to wifi though my laptop and PC can.. decide to flash to speedmode kernel and it works.. luckily I didn't flash again.. was afraid it was the rom fault smile.gif


edited: experiment again by flashing back to chainfire kernel.. now the wifi works! dunno what bug that cause it earlier hmm.gif

pity me, didnt notice that and flashed. now i can only sit there and enjoy my last version of cm7(if i can only do fresh install to cm7). will go back to photoshopped rom for awhile before go back to cm7.

both are safe. no wipe if u update from the same rom, wipe for coming from other rom.

Hi guys...just want to ask...i'm still in 2.2.1 JQ1 simply galaxy 2.7 sweethoney ZSJPJ ROM, if i want to upgrade to latest ROM and 2.3.4, many things need to be done?

few months din login here, a bit blur of the new rom and flashing details...

Please advise....
