I'm soo butthurt "We believe software is just as important as hardware," Lee said. now you know software is important too. nice one! at least you are not too late. remind me of Omnia HD two years back when people complaining the update was slow like a snail from samsung.. now they're fast in Android! |

Or will it be recognised by KIES? Is this stock 2.3.4 for Galaxy S and is it stable? Can I have the link please? Battery draining is really killing me.. |

QUOTE(alucard_my @ Jun 10 2011, 10:12 AM) I've updated to the stock 2.3.3...that's the problem. Root is like giving you admin access to the ROM. You still be using that original ROM. Not another ROM.If I root my device, will I be able to revert to the original ROM? Or will it be recognised by KIES? Is this stock 2.3.4 for Galaxy S and is it stable? Can I have the link please? Battery draining is really killing me.. You can always use Odin to flash the stock DXJV9 for SEA to remove the root. Way better than using KIES. Been using DXJV9 on my other SGS and the battery life is very good. From 7am until 10pm with about 30% battery left. A lot of people in XDA said that Samsung have fixed the battery drain in XXJVP but this ROM is for Europe so you will need set the APN manually. You can download DXJV9 and other GB ROMS from the links I posted earlier. This post has been edited by blurjoey: Jun 10 2011, 10:49 AM |

It will be no harm if we use 2.3.4 but we have to manually put the APN Setting. If I root my device, will I be able to revert to the original ROM? Or will it be recognised by KIES?
