Samsung actually sent an SGS2 to CM7 community to develop a ROM. I hope they quickly fix it right for SGS1.

QUOTE(axsk8er @ Jun 8 2011, 05:35 PM) oh? ok then~ ^^.. i'll ask u guys what ever things i'm confused with when i get my sgs >.<.. actually out of box experience is not bad, it has a beautiful screen to start with. Only when you start to accumulate more and more apps, data and junks inside your phone, it will starts to frustrate you. for those who says sgs out of the box is bad try nokia c7 ^^.. (u won't experience it when u 1st time used it if ur not a smartphone user haha . cz i wasn't back then -,-) |

I found a better gallery replacement app, "QuickPic". Fast and responsive.

QUOTE(lightning69 @ Jun 9 2011, 01:55 PM) So iphones are for people who lives in a world where the sun don't shines. I guess they manage to fix the sun in the Android world. Just settle for a stable ROM which suits your priorities, for eg. batt life, GPS. You are actually taking risks when you flashed here and there for custom ROMs, coz none of these 'customs' are actually stable. You like to eat salt fish then you must withstand the saltiness la This post has been edited by lch78: Jun 9 2011, 01:36 PM |

QUOTE(lightning69 @ Jun 9 2011, 02:38 PM) There is a way you can have the best of both worlds. For eg. I m on stock Froyo for 2 and a half weeks already coz I need stability for my daily works. A working smartphone without all the fancy themes and features. When i am free or my daily works not that demanding anymore, I will flash to a custom ROM, use it and if it is stable enough, I will continue to use it. When I need to go for oversea assignment and I feel that the custom ROM is not that reliable, I will flash back to stock Froyo before I go, that is my stable base which is always reliable.
