QUOTE(shirley_andy @ May 26 2011, 11:27 AM)
should I call up Cust Serv if i occasionally experience sudden disconnection?
when it happens the ZTE Modem program will suddenly show Celcom roaming instead of Umobile, then i have to re-plug in the modem then only it'll show Umobile and can connect again.
sometimes it don't show celcom, it show "no service" instead, then I'd have to do the same then it'll detect umobile again..

something wrong with the sim? something wrong with the modem? btw I'm on the old U68 with 3.6MBps ZTE modem..
*
I also suffer same problem with U mobile line when using it with my Dlink modem. However, my modem usually change to other kind of bandwidth from HSDPA and i have to do like what you say to get it back online.

I strongly suggest that you test the broadband performance using the U mobile prepaid broaband first. wink.gif

It's free for up to 100 minutes. If you exceed the 100 minutes normal rates apply (18 sen per minute, 30 seconds block)

True.
High speed means you will be downloading a lot of movies. Downloading 700 MB is soo fast. That bring to...
High speed mean your credit will be eaten up very fast and your FUP speed will kicked in within just a few days rclxm9.gif

Anyone knows when U Mobile is going to upgrade the upload speed for Klang Valley? The 56Kbps max upload rate is driving me crazy - in fact I think it's what caused my E160X to burn the other day ( it overheated and failed to detect any network as soon as I finished uploading a 19MB video file to FB)

Should be this year. smile.gif
The only complaints I got on UBB is - increase bandwidth to 10GB and upgrade the upload speed. thumbup.gif
